My hubby went up to the observatory and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I, on the other hand have fear of heights so I stayed at the museum >.<

I give it an average. What you have to think about is? This is the number one thing to do in Sapporo? That's pretty scary. I've been in Sapporo three days and let me tell you that's long enough.

A very good half day excursion where you get a feel for the ski jump and have a great view over Sapporo. The museum is very interesting and the interactive exhibits are good fun for all the family.

Interesting visit, a little tired but worth a visit just for interest and great views of the city. 500 Yen to the top was a great deal.

There is no age limit, and actually some people brought toys to play in with in the snow when I was there.
