It stand majestic on the preserved ground. Very beautiful on a bright winter morning. The surroundings must be lovely in summer with lakes and trees. Downside is there is no English board to explain the significance of the building.

We visited the place in the morning in winter. Snow was everywhere. The ground was slippery and wet. The view was one of history. I am happy this heritage is alive and well for the future to learn, see and feel. Lessons can be learnt...More

This historical building doesn't need much review beyond what has already been said. But it should be noted that it's particularly beautiful on a winter evening, when the surrounding trees are lit up with classical white lights.

No trip to sapporo is complete without a visit to this beautiful building. It houses a lot of history that it would make no sense to skip it.

A famous and outstanding building in the city centre near Odori Park and Sapporo Station. There is a brief history shown in the museum. A good place for photo taking. I love the small garden near the building.
