It was snowing and the entire place was white. Go around 9am to avoid the crowd and get good shots. Expect to spend around 15 mins there. Worth the walk.

I went here last January when I had a little free time from my business trip. The building is worth the view and also you can do several activities here. I was shocked even there was a couple did their pre-wed photos here!

Worth making a quick detour to check out this building at dusk and all lit up. It was a 10-15 minute walk from the snow festival.

Very nice place to see with a free museum. They put a lots of lights and they have a light show in the evening. Unfortunately we were there during the day but the park is nice.

We saw very beautiful autumn foliage in this park. There is a big pond with ducks. Nice place to take photos and enjoy the scenery.

Though this is a site of historic value, there are other exhibitions from other museums (when I visited) and plenty of artefacts and even the preserved setting of the old government office. A recommended site while visiting Hokkaido!
