Big selection of places to eat or grab a beer. Souvenir stores were rip offs full of bus groups. Many of the places to eat were very reasonable prices, but I was too full to try any of them. Saw a number of people eating ice cream while the temperatures were below 32F--0C. Didn't quite understand that. Easy access from... More

The strip mall-ish concept really helped us take shelter from the harsh winds. There are a lot of small mom & pop type shops with a few chain coffee stores and of course DonKi where duty free shopping is open 24/7. It's nice to visit and grab a bite to eat while strolling. Though don't expect major shopping unless you're... More

This is a must for my wife when in Sapporo and something I have learnt to accept. My wife loves all the cosmetic stores (all do tax free) and we can spend hours here. Many other types of shops though, souvenirs, Don Quixote department store (sells just about everything), many restaurants and even a couple of hotels. Located not too... More

Nice shopping arcade, convenient when it's raining or snowing. Visit Don Quixote for souvenirs and all kinds of necessities.

Nothing outstanding, you not going to miss a things, just like you typical outdoor shopping mall. Lot of drugstores, cosmetics, souvenirs and tax free shops. Many restaurants and cafes. Unless you are looking for something particular, the shops in the underground mall at Pole Town has more variety.

This is one long street several blocks long popular amongst tourist especially for cosmetic and medication plus anything else you want to buy st Hyper Media which opens 24 hours even expensive watches, bags and liquor. So if you can't sleep or running out of time to shop this is where you find your therapy. There are many good restaurants... More

Shopping area that closes ranging from 9 pm to 1am. Alot of duty free and souvenir shops catered to tourist. Good to visit if you run out of shopping places to visit or if you need to shop late at night. In winter most of the shops in the other shopping area closes at 8pm.
