Just 20 minutes from the city to go skiing in this beautiful little mountain suitable for all levels. Package is the way to go - for JPY10,000 it includes all the gears (except gloves) and a nice lunch too! Go early before the crowd gets in. Took about 45 minutes for all of us to get ready to ski :)... More

Absolutely great place for the family to go. Conveniently located just 20mins off the Maruyamakeon Station. When you exit the train station, go towards exit 2 for the bus station and there, you can take the Ban K bus up the hill. It comes every 30mins from Mid Dec till Mac. Signs are all display on the roster for easy... More

It was a short ride from JR station. You can practically rent everything there & hire English speaking ski instructor. Had a great time over at Bankei, kids taking ski lesson for their 1st time. Big thumbs up to our wonderful instructors - Kota & his Sensei. They were extremely friendly & helpful.

From Maruyama Koen train station, exit 2 & find the bus sign that says Bankei K as per picture. I believe there are two buses every hour during winter (10th & 40th minute). The ride is less than 30 mins and once u alight, u would need to go up slope and the snow can make it a bit challenging.... More

Very convenient by taking subway and bus to the skiing area. Recommended to obtain the bus schedule from the reception counter in advance, else will have to wait for long time at the bus stop.

The location is within the proximity of Sapporo city. Bought ¥10000 ski package worth of 4 hrs of lift + ski wear +equipment + meal (soba). As a beginner and not so frequent skier, the place has served more than I want with worth price and facilities

From Sapporo station take the green line to Odori station but but your ticket for Maruyama Koen station which is ¥250 pp one way (jan 2016). At Odori station take the orange Tozai line bound for Miyanosawa and exit at Maruyama koen which is T06. Find exit 2 at that station and take the bus to Bankei (¥210 pp one... More

The slope in this ski area is for beginners. So children and tourists can enjoy ski. Tourists can borrow skis.

Mountain was pretty empty when we went for the day, we decided to stop by since it was so close. It was snowing the previous so it was powder on the wide. It was nice for all levels of skiing and snowboarding. Their very fickle with the weather though. They closed the main lift stating weather issues, but it was... More

Liked everything about it. Great slopes. Has everything you need for a great day skiing - rental shop, lockers, two restaurants (one cafe style and the other dining style). There are several car parks but the main car park annexed to the lounge is the most convenient.

Thank M L
