This musuem show the history of Sapporo beer but I think they should set theme of musuem as Ramen musuem, they should show every single beer that they made. About beer tasting, they gave you only 3 choices and all choices you can buy in Lawson, 7-11 BTW if you want to taste spacial beer in musuem, don't think about... More

great tour of how Sapporo beer came to be. The history and story were very informative and the pub to have beer tastings was a great way to end it.

Learnt a bit about the history of Sapporo beer. I can see how this could be interesting for some people but after a while I got tired reading the information. The last part allowed some beer tasting which was reasonably priced. Can plan for a short visit to this place (although admittedly we did not explore the rest of the... More

Lovely building and grounds. The self guided tour were short & sweet. Good for children with short attention span :-). The beer making equipments and architecture of the building keeps the children engaged. We enjoyed the beer tasting. It was a great history lesson too. There's a shopping centre next door where we had good Japanese Italian dinner.

The self guided beer tour is good and the cards for each station come in several languages including English. This was extremely crowded even in winter. There's a ticket machine to purchase beer. The tasting flight is the best value. They will ask for ID if you look too young, as I saw happen to two boys who said they... More

How many city in the world share its name with a beer brand? I can only think of Sapporo (I'm sure there must be some German beers that named after a German towns, but they might be too long or too difficult for me to remember). So if you drink beer and happen to be in Sapporo, there is no... More

The museum was about 15 min walk from station with the help of google, look out for the Sapporo high chimney if you feel you had lost your way. The tour can be easily self guided as there's information cards of different languages placed at each station to explain the history. The beer tasting is very good with a good... More

It was a memorable trip for our family. Heard so much about it from friends and relatives who visited Sapporo. We got to know the history of Sapporo beer from the informative artifacts and write-ups. The beer at the end of the trip was a must-have.

Well done museum with both free tour (definitely sufficient) and premium tour options. English, Chinese, and Korean information sheets available at each display. A 600-yen tasting of three, half-pint servings of Sapporo beer with a pack of free bar snacks (wasabi peas--yum). Plan for 1.5-2 hours. It's a 15-minute walk from the nearest subway station, and there's a taxi stand... More

Food was ok. Yakiniku. Prepare to smell like food after. Beer selection is great - of course, it's their brewery. All-you-can-eat/drink available on the menu. Lamb and beef. Nice place to have dinner. It was quite a walk from the train station but after dinner Taxi cabs are available outside the Beer Hall.
