When we stepped into the compound of the beer museum, we were enthralled with the grandeur of the red bricked factory surrounded with pine trees covered with snow. It looked like an old nicely -kept monestry from the outside. As we stepped in, it was...More

Lovely building nice place to visit, as we are there during winter the snow cover the whole place make it very beautiful. But the museum does not have much to offer, just a place to hang out if you a Sapporo beer fan.

First the good, it's a good place to visit. I've been in the Paulaneer, Park, and Warstiener breweries and attended the Octoberfest in Munich so I have a little experience in going to beer activities. I have to admit I would have never of thought...More

You can't missed this place if you are gonna try the Genghis Khan meal and beer. Not a convenient place to visit and as advised by our Japan friend, we took a cab instead. Do direct to the museum and book a table for dinner...More

We had only 1 night in Sapporo and didn't regret our decision to visit the Sapporo Beer Museum. It's free entry and we did a self-guided tour around the museum. The gallery / information boards in the museum are in Japanese but there are English...More

For my group a visit to Sapporo could not be complete without a visit to the Sapporo Brewery! It was a bit out of the way ~20 minute walk from the main Sapporo train station, but worth a visit. Flights of 3 types of Sapporo...More

A floor of museum depicting the history of Sapporo beer, and if you are into Sapporo beer jelly, you probably should get it from their shop cos I didn’t see them being sold elsewhere.

If travelling in winter it is better to take a taxi instead of walking on the icy slippery pavement. Taxi rides are no less "exciting" though but you will be seated instead of walking =)
