You cannot be in Kobe without visit this place! It's an amazing walk between the nature and you can enjoy the Kobe view by the top of the mountain.

There are a few ropeways n Kobe. We did the Herb Garden as it was handy to the Loop Bus. Views from the top are tremendous. Take the trail down. It meanders down the mountainside through herb and flower gardens. A very pleasant walk.

It is on the hill and you can look over the sea, beautiful, big, and have a very nice restaurant and souvenir shop. You will youse cable car to go there. My favorite place.

I believe that the only way to enter the Herb Garden is from the entrance near Shin Kobe station and you don't pay less if you walk up rather than taking the ropeway. So I would recommend taking the ropeway up and walking... More

I took the cable car to the top of the garden but didn't go any further There are different rope ways and I think yours may be a different one
