Not much to so here in harborland, except the maritime museum and earthquake memorial. Try to have lunch and dinner elsewhere as the offering is slim!

Listed as a top must see attraction in Kobe, we walked from the town along the harbor to visit the shopping center. Unfortunately, it is located next to where the cruise ships drop off and everything has been completely Americanized. If you crave KFC and U.S. style restaurants with no Japanese culture, visit Harborland. For any authentic Japanese culture, look... More

If you visit Kobe, you absolutely can't miss this place that it's the symbol of this city. You can enjoy eating, shopping and seeing the gorgeous port view.

Opportunities to be in open space and take outdoor photos. Interesting daytime and night time. Would be a good idea to come at dusk to enjoy the best of both worlds. The night lights are pretty. There cafes and bistrots with views, too.

Brought my kid to Harborland over the weekend. There is a number of attractions all at one place. With 3 huge shopping malls and plenty of restaurants offering many dinning options; Harborland can keep the family busy for the entire day! Accessible by city subway Kaigan and JR line. Drop at Harborland station and follow the signs to Umie.

We got off at the JR Kobe train station and followed the signs to Harborland. We went from the Harborland shopping complex to the street which led to the harbor. Plenty of malls on the street on the way there as well as small points of interests like a couple of whales or a metallic giraffe. The harbor area was... More

As it was near the hotel we were staying. We spent quite a fair bit of time there for our meals and shopping. There was a big arcade place this all the usual ufo catching games etc. I liked the 100yen shop at the basement.
