We visited this place by Nov 2016. The transport took about 1 hour plus to come here. The ticket cost JPY 2000 for adult, JPY 1000 for child. We have to wait about a hour to go in. The house itself is small ,but the...More

Besides the overpriced entrance (2000JPY), place was overcrowded. Had to wait for almost 3.5(!) hours! First time I had this awful experience. You are supposed to see beautiful colors during autumn but it was not something that special. Be prepared for super long wait!

Visited the temple for 2 times. From 2014, it only opened for November 15~30. The ticket price became 2000 yen. But, the scenery is attractive and impressed.

Entrance was 2000JPY and its not worth it, although the fall colors are gorgeous and the building itself is impressive and interesting regardless.
