Very quaint, short cobblestoned alley with preserved traditional wooden and stone houses on both sides that house very private bars and restaurants. Nice to walk in the evening, and a pleasant shortcut between Kodai-ji and Gion.

Really cool place to spend an afternoon eating and shopping. Each shop offers something different and there seemed to be something for everyone. Definitely worth a visit.
