We rented Kimono for the day and walked around Kiyomizuji and area. The prices were fairly reasonable and you could have your hair styled for a small extra cost.

gilded hair in full kimono can be seen drifting the
streets on their way to and from work, where they fan
dance, sing, and play instruments for customers. Gion

What do you do with the clothing you came in with? Do they allow you to leave them in the shop while you walk around, or do you have to take them along with you?
