Again, this is an attraction best to look at it from the outside only. We went and paid to view from the top at the best hours of sunset until night time. Nothing really amazing for what you paid. I did think that you should...More

The Kyoto Tower is conveniently located close to the Kyoto Train Station in a clean modern building with countless shops. The ticket to ride an elevator to the viewing level at 100 meters up is inexpensive and the ride is a short one. Don't miss...More

The tower itself is really pretty on the exterior especially at night when it's lighted up. The admission ticket is 770 yen if you purchase at the counter, or 700 yen if you book in advance online. I highly recommend purchasing the ticket to go...More

I don't think this would be worth a full value ticket. We got discounted tickets through our hotel, so decided to check it out. It was fairly crowded at the top. Also, it is not 100% stroller friendly. We had no problems getting it to...More

We went on to the top in the evening, Kyoto is having another blast in the cover of the night, you can walk 360 degrees and see every single angle of Kyoto, it is a wonderful experience.

It cost just over £5 each to visit this attraction. It is not particularly tall and the viewing platform is tiny in comparison to many we have visited but still afforded good views of the city through mainly clean glass (that was a bonus). They...More

This tower provides you with a magnificant view over Kyoto. I would advise two visits: one during the daytime and one in the evening. The view appears to be quite different but in both cases highly interesting. There are good explanation displays (also in English)...More

This was a cool place to see the entire city from up high. The price of 770 yen/adult was very inexpensive.
