When the lights light up at night, it looks rather impressive and pretty. You can stroll the shops around Tsetenkaku. Food wise, not sure if we walked the wrong area but 80% of them are selling kushikatsu.

First you have to join a huge line to go up for the view. But its funny once you arrive on the top you can touch the feet of the god and have a picture of you. Dont forget to make a wish ;)

We could see the Tower from the Tennoji Zoo and we therefore decided to visit the Tower to see the area from the top. But the place was too crowded with shops selling too many merchandise especially Glico products ( Pocky, Pretz and other foodstuffs!) and we quickly went up the tower. There was also a performing monkey as we... More

High tower and its spectacular sight mat not much exciting to many rooftop viewers but it's the tower and its more than century old story that has been presented in the cinema room that leaves me in wonder of how Osaka has been shaped.

The tower is based on the Eiffel Tower in Paris but it doesn't have its elegance. The interior is dated, however the views from the top are good.

There are lots of eating places around Tsutenkaku, i do recommend coming at dusk when its starting to get dark as you'll see the awesome Tsutenkaku tower. It gets busy at night with all the young people out and about but its great to experience that atmosphere.

This part of Osaka is a nice surprise. Lots of places to eat. Large restaurants to small stand only places. The streets are colorfully decorated and the tower is brilliant at night.

This is an ugly looking tower, located at the end of Tennoji park, next to a so-so neighborhood. We felt no need to get to the top of the tower as the place looked rather dated.
