Visited Kuromon Market in Osaka when we were there in June 2017. It is a place where you will get to see more tourist than the locals. However, in my opinion you can still visit it. There are plenty of stalls selling food ranging from...More

Be sure to visit this small market on noon or before it to find the biggest choice of food. Be brave and try sea food - this is the purpose of visiting Kuromon Market.

Fish, fun and feasting... Osakans are spoilt for choice when it comes to good food, and the Kuromon market combines that with tradition and a dash of theatricality. Under cover for the most part, rows of fish, and fruit and vegetable stalls, offer a dazzling...More

Easily spend half a day here walking up and down and eating whatever you fancy. Oysters the size of your fist, sea urchins straight out of their shell and shucked in front of you... Kobe beef (look for the stores that are certified) grilled tantalizingly...More

I suggest you to visit as early as possible (around 8am) and before 12pm. Later will be crowded, no soups and the seafood offer (especially oysters) won't be so fresh
