Namba seems like an never end precinct of bright light, little alley ways, shops and eateries. You get the big department stores (Takashimaya) and wonder away and you'll be in a maze of small alley way with little bars and restaurants. I stayed in an...More

It's a must go place in Osaka to see and eat and buy. There are streets and streets of shops and cafes. It can be crowded at night even on weekdays. Nearby walking distance to Dontonburi and Shinsaibashi too.

For those of us who booked accommodations in Namba this area is a must stroll around anyway. For those staying in other areas, I would say the same. Wide selection of shops, restaurants, tourist hot spots within walking distance.

Crowded people came from tour group, individual traveller and local. Most of the shop can speak Mandarin and English, a lot of restaurants and many queue, nice decoration outside the shops eg: spider man, big crab, big sushi, etc..
