We visited this shrine in end July. There were some ceremonies on going when we got there. There were also many food and game stalls. It was a wonderful experience to get to know more about Japanese culture. Worth a visit.

This whole site was wonderful not only to see but experience. There certainly wasn't a crowd there but enough worshippers to see various rituals 'displayed' and get a feeling for how the shrine is important and integrated into everyday life. We were lucky and had...More
