This beautiful Shrine is not far from downtown. You can go by subway and transfer to Classic Tram to reach there. Stop at station no.12 will be at the main entrance of this Shrine. Big Red Bridge is the beautiful landmark of this Shrine.

I visited this shrine after spending a couple of hours shopping in Dotonobri. What a peaceful place! I really liked the bridge and all the flags & lanterns. It was a lovely area to photograph. There are a few souvenirs for sale near the entrance.

We visited this shrine in end July. There were some ceremonies on going when we got there. There were also many food and game stalls. It was a wonderful experience to get to know more about Japanese culture. Worth a visit.

We enjoyed celebrating new year with the local Japanese in this Shrine. We arrived around 10pm and joined a big crowd of people strolling around the stalls selling food and authentic Japanese stall game. I enjoyed catching the fishes with a tissue net and picking...More

What type of luggage do you have? I don't remember there specifically being any lockers in the facility but there may be some in the Sumiyoshi Taisha station that is within walking distance! If you have a backpack you will... More
