This is the second visit . The first was a few years back . The attractions have not changed much . They have added Transformers . The place is still very well maintained and lots of fun for the children . We bought the after 5 pm pass . Normal entry is about Y4400 , after 5 pm pass Y3300... More

Like everyone, had expected games and heaps of fun at an advanced entertainment arcade but came away disappointed. With exception of a few mini arcade rides that were probably left over from the original SEGA (think universal studios ride on a mini scale), the other things were grapplers for toys and a huge section for teenage Japanese girls like a... Expected more from Sega which is a household name. Brought 2 kids and they did not manage to do that much as they were not into the impressive doll replica machine nor the chose haunted houses. Possibly needed more touch up on their offerings especially computer games perhaps?

If your looking to see an "over the top" Japanese arcade this is the place for you. Other than just having picture machines that make you have big eyes and turn you kawaii, claw games, and standard arcade games Joypolis as a few attractions. One is a virtual water ride, one where you are hang gliding, a small walk through... More

If you really want to visit this place, don't buy a day pass. Just pay for the entry fee and pay for the ride that attracts you. Some Joypolis were closed down in the other cities.

I had the impression that this place was a video game Mecca but it was the most disappointing thing I've done so far in Japan. There were hardly any video games, it was mainly those machines where you use a claw to grab toys plus a whole floor of those beauty booths. The Ferris wheel on top of Hep 5... More

I'm pretty sure we had it coming. Osaka had been wonderful to us so far, and a guide book recommended we check this place out if you are adult nerdy types. We love video games, Sega and rides, so we figured we couldn't go wrong. The arcade games are meager at best, just a few, and a "passport" doesn't get... More

This place comes highly recommended as a place to visit, so we decided to make the trip down to check it out. While some may call it an indoor amusement park, to us it's just a slightly bigger arcade located inside a really big mall. Aside from the Neoprints and soft toys machines, the attraction of the place are the... More

Not sure if TripAdvisor feedback here are reviewing the same place? Of its changed since he last post?! Yes, I did see a 1/2 floor (level 9) full of soft toy machine for one play ¥100 or ¥500 for 6 plays. However there was a whole floor (level 8) dedicated to photo booths for young teenage girls for pictures and... More

Fantastic wet day entertainment for teenagers. Even parents enjoyed it. Great indoor roller coaster. Don't bother getting stamp card to win iPad. .....just a waste of time. Enjoyed surrounding shops and navigating train system. Japanese locals happy to help if you get stuck.
