From where we stayed in Osaka (shi-osaka station) it was not very wise to go there - we had to use many trains to reach it. And it was not worth it. The place is crowded by tourists and nothing special to see. If you...More

The gorgeous neon sign that shines in the river is glittering. Boat cruises would be good as well for a tourist.

Beautiful, colourful and vibrant lights illuminating Dotonburi at night. It was cold so I did not manage to walk all the way along the river.

It is a must go in Osaka at night. There are lots of shops, restaurants, bars and entertainments. Very busy but manageable. Great fun to walk around, take some photographs, shop and eat.

Along with the lights, the area is full of amazing restaurants and bars. It can get very busy with people as its a popular photo spot.

My favorite attraction in Osaka. It's beautiful and colorful, very photogenic and I ate the best sushi in Japan while walking through this area. It's very crowded with people trying to get the perfect shot, but the crowds are manageable.

I assume you can, but it will be really tight and exhausting as there's loads to do in Hakone itself.

It might take less than an hour to get to the terminal from Osaka if you use public transportation. All JR, Hankyu, and Hanshin lines goes to Kobe.
