Getting on In years, this place is alive, flashy noisy and entertaining. Osaka however is so different to other Japanese cities we’ve been to, in that there’s rubbish graffiti, people who live on the edge. It’s a different Japanese experience

This place feels to me a bit like a mix of high end shops, gambling machines, Japanese preferences for colours and flashy lights. Although it all centers around one street, the area comprises various arcades (of an impressive length!). It is crowded, but feels still...More

It’s a very beautiful place and probably one of the must see places of Osaka. Nice to go have dinner in the many stores of the area and later to take a walk in the area.

I wouldn't recommend to go in the daytime, It looks not so much in order in daytime. But when the lights is on, it looks really nice. Many restaurants.

A trip to Osaka is not complete without Dotonburi. Visit it once for the lights, the glitz, the crowd and the shopping if you like.

It is a must visit place in OSAKA. Huge glico signboard is must for photos and its synonymous with OSAKA. There are plenty good places to eat and shop. Ichiran ramen is also very close by. There are some great bbq shops.
