This gallery is provincial at best and in no way a national gallery. In contrast, the nearby Museum of ceramics is outstanding.

not the biggest art gallery but what was on show was good, the highlight though was the cafe with great food and cakes, with a special dish based upon the special exhibition on display

Great exhibits and wonderful architecture in this subterranean art gallery! The museum house the work of Mark Rothko, C.Y. Twombly, Gerhard Richter - however it gets way too crowdy!
