Don’t miss this huge bookstore on the top floor of Suria KLCC shopping mall. There’s a wide range of English books and magazines, including special offers on the latest releases. There’s also great views from the cafe of the city skyline.

Nowadays the latest books arrive also in KL quickly so I am stacking up my holiday reading here on the top floor of Suria mall. They have a good selection of Asian authors in English as well and special sections for young adults too. I don't like things go to waste so I take my books after reading to a second hand bookstore owned by Indian brothers at Central market.

This internationally recognised bookstore remains one of my favourite hideouts during my sojourn in Kuala Lumpur. It is comforting to find books of a wide range, catering to the needs and liking of almost anyone. Unfortunately, some of the books were wrapped tightly in plastic, making casual reading impossible. For my first trip to this bookstore, I had managed to find 3 notebooks, 2 in Vincent Van Gogh and 1 in Bodleian Libraries for purchase, a CNY-themed pouch bag and file from Loka Made brand. There are some interesting Penguin Books theme tote bags selling at Kuala Lumpur, which Singapore doesn’t have! However, the travel section in KL store is rather limited as compared to Singapore. I certainly look forward to re-visiting this store again in my future trips to Kuala Lumpur, subject to time availability.

My wife and I visited this impressive book store during our recent holiday in Kuala Lumpur. I think it is the largest book store in Malaysia. It would be easy for book lovers to spend a few hours in this store.

A specious bookshop with good choice of literature for different topics in different languages including English, Chinese, Japanese, etc. THere are also sections with manga and manhwa, stationary and suveniers. I recomend to visit it if you're in Kuala Lumpuru.

I have visited several Kinokuniya stores in other SE Asia cities (Jakarta, Singapore, Bangkok), but still the KL branch is the biggest one I've ever experienced. Located in the popular KLCC, I was always having good time in Kinokuniya. It has comprehensive Asian literature, which is divided again into some countries shelf. Gonna need 2-3 hours if you love books more than anything in the world.

Anytime I'm in town, this is my first stop. I get most of my anime/manga here! Items in Japanese as well as English, there really is something here for everyone.
Staff are always pleasant and are merciful/helpful when I attempt to use my beginner's level Japanese.
Excellent variety of cookbooks. I even picked up a book on origami, that came with 200 sheets of pretty paper (198, of which, I will probably destroy!)
Not just books, either. Dvds, novelties, some literary- inspired t-shirts.
I'm not ashamed to say, I've just used my fourth gift card, earned on my 'loyalty card'. You get one for every $300 spent online or in the store!
LOVE THIS PLACE!!

Books , books and more books! All the latest best sellers, in English, Malay, Japanese and Mandarin. Lots of cute stationeries and other writing instruments. Also a really good cafe at the top floor which you can access from within Kinokuniya. Can easily spend a few hours browsing for books.

Always visit Kinokuniya in Bangkok and Singapore. They have a very wide selection of the latest books on different subjects, classic literature, and table books.
