Great visit with the excellent teaching of Tyra and Manpreet. Clear instruction, professional studio and even some acceptable tea towels as a result !

My MIL and I did the Batik workshop where we made silk scarves. It was such a fun and wonderful experience. Tyra, Manpreet and Alya were great instructors and made the workshop easy to understand and follow.
We loved learning the art of Batik artistry!!
I would HIGHLY recommend anyone to do this workshop. Not only is it great fun (even for non-artsy types like me), but you leave with a gorgeous handmade treasure.

I went on a ladies afternoon out for a batik workshop at the Batik Boutique. Aina was great at teaching us about the techniques to create wax resist patterns using blocks, canting and brushes. It was informative and lots of fun! We practised on pieces of paper and small squares of cloth first before making our chosen item. I chose a silk scarf, which absorbs the dye lighter than cotton. Then Aina helped us mix dyes to drop our cloths in to colour them. Note that some items need finishing after the batik art is done, so cannot be taken home on the same day, so bear that in mind if you only have a short trip to Kuala Lumpur. All in all a great experience I’d definitely recommend!

I had a lot of fun at our team virtual morale event! Loved the workshop. Aina was very calm, sweet, clear and delightful in her instructions and training us. I enjoyed the session we had which went by too quickly. I also loved the end-result of our masterpieces. Everyone seemed to have had a good time.

Good workshop. Aina very gentle and plaisant. A lot of time to try before realising the objet. However, the result is quite disappointing because of the too pale colors. Moreover, the quality of the fabric is too low.

A great experience in KL! An afternoon having fun and learning to make batik, what else can you ask for? The final product looks beautiful! Staff is excellent, their knowledge and ability to teach are commendable.

I had such a fun time with Athirah, the batik artist, and my colleagues during the virtual batik painting workshop. Athirah was very helpful and guided us on the batik painting techniques during the workshop. The delivery arrangements with BatikBoutique team was smooth as well. I'm glad that it was a successful team bonding event with my colleagues during the lockdown.

I had a fun experience with Athirah and the others during the Batik DIY Painting workshop (RIUH 4 Rakyat campaign). Athirah was supportive and kind in teaching us about colour mixing and other Batik painting tips. Plus, it's a bonus to chat and decompress over a therapeutic activity :)

Had a wonderful time experiencing Batik techniques during this workshop. Very friendly team, I learnt a lot and enjoyed making my own batik tea towel that I could proudly bring back home. I will renew the experience to make something else like a tote bag. And highly recommend it!
