- Su8 contributionsReally, really glad we went!Absolutely wonderful place! Particularly love the replicas of shops and hawker stalls. The attention to detail there is amazing! Plenty of information on the places and cultures depicted. I can’t wait for them to do even more. Really, really glad we went.Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 3 October 2023
- ps14609 contributionsFantastic Miniatures!Great museum and very clever interactive activities for kids and families. The miniatures are beautiful and so detailed. Very fun and educational as well. Located in a Japanese themed shopping center so many places to eat after you finish visiting the museum. I will definitely be coming back :)Visited October 2023Travelled with familyWritten 25 October 2023
- EviKabanMedan, Indonesia93 contributionsPlace worth visitI spent almost 2 hours in this place enjoying all about Malaysia. The first display are about miniature of food, very detailed and colorful. Then I entered the next display about Malaysia, I did not realize that I've been spent more than 1.5 hours enjoying the stories, fun fact, all the miniatures about places, people and cultures. I am impressed on how details they make the miniature of Masjid Jamek, Temple in Genting and all other places. Visiting this place make me want to explore other part of Malaysia. They said that this place is only 60% completed so they targeted to be completed in the next 3 to 5 years. Well, if the 60% is this good, I can't wait for their 100%. I definitely will visit again (regardless it will be 100% by the time I visited Malaysia next time)Visited October 2023Written 31 October 2023
- Coreen T4 contributionsAmazing museum to visit!!Be prepared to be wowed away by the amazing craftwork and details that go into the dioramas. The museum is run by Cheng Huat and his wife and their passion is evident in their telling of Malaysia’s culture and history. And don’t miss the light show!!!Visited November 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 4 November 2023
- Phyllis MLos Angeles, California9 contributionsDon't miss this really cool placeThe talent here in making the miniatures is outstanding. There are different sections: local foods, typical scenes with stories that go along with the intricate scenes, and the third section has other famous areas of Malaria with a light show! It's just really cool to see. Don't miss it. Btw, it's on the 5th floor of the mall.Visited November 2023Travelled soloWritten 20 November 2023

Notes sure if everything is exact scale model or true to location but well worth the small entry fee to spend an hour or two.Visited January 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 3 January 2024
- Clare LCrete, Greece93 contributionsMiniature KL & Malaysian life. Great for all miniature lovers and well EVERYONE!On entering the display there are many perspex room box's displaying the many different food stalls/ food available with information about the foods very well made and informative. Amazing miniatures of KL ( wonderful detail lits like looking back in time to when they were first built and buildings are recognizable to our inexperienced eyes!) Also buildings and other areas of Malaysia displayed with Information about the area/ history/ building which we found very interesting.,.light displays on some of the buildings well worth watching and easily understood announcement of when they will start. Beautiful figurines with immaculate detail on the clothes of the different ethnic groups which make up this wonderful diverse culture. We'll worth a visit, very informative and lots of hours of detailed study and work. If you have children there are items/ figures hidden within many of the displays for them to find.Visited January 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 13 January 2024

First, hats off to the passionate diorama artists and to those who bring them together for this colossal piece of art. Every scene touches your heart and you'll ask the same question we all do; "How long did it take to do these?". Well, the answer is as long as it takes I suppose.
If you're a local, you've been missing this out(So did I). If you're a traveler, this is the spot to hit most spots prior to going to the real one.
All the scenery, moving parts, light show, quiz/miniature hunting & finished off with hand-made beauty gifts make it a one-off worthwhile experience for just RM25.

Located within the heart of KL inside the Sungei Wang shopping centre (1st floor, just beside Daiso). Easy access via public transport. Covers a fairly large area. One can easily spend a couple of hours admiring these tiny detailed works of art housed within different areas (A copy of a map will be given once ticket is purchased). The food related, kampungs and shophouses dioramas are fantastic. Everything is jaw droppingly intricate and beautiful. Bring your camera and charger just in case! An adult ticket costs only RM25 which is very reasonable. When I was there I happened to chat to Chan, one of the creators of Minnature who is happy to provide information about the exhibit. Highly recommended for all, a truly hidden gem in KL.

So many delightful things to see and details to look out for it took us almost 3 hours to go through all the miniatures! There are 2 lightshows available, so do look out for that.
The miniatures vary in details, but altogether I imagine it'll make a good place to bring foreign friends to to share about our older cultures. I think it's very risky to bring children who have curious itchy hands to this museum, otherwise it'll be a nice place to tell them about fading Malaysian cultures.
The makers put alot of effort into adding stories and scavenger hunts throughout the exhibitions, making it more interactive!
Tip: Don't look at too many pictures before going so that you don't spoil the fun for yourself!

I love miniatures and this trip was truly amazing! The miniatures were so detailed and you could see the amount of hard work they put in their craft. My partner and i spent about 3 hours there as they had a scavenger hunt in each room, as well as a mini light show for two of the big dioramas! Definitely worth the RM30 in my opinion. And i would recommend for those who are interested in dioramas as well as learning malaysian culture.

If you like miniatures this is a gem of a place. There are models of the most famous landmarks from all the Malaysian states, moving model trains and a couple of light shows. The most delightful to me were the miniature food stalls and domestic and village scenes from the past - the realism and fine details are incredible.
I spoke to one of the owners and he said the place opened just two weeks before lockdown. Which probably explains why this place isn't better known. I'm just glad it survived lockdown as my son and I had such a fun time on our visit.
The place is still a work in progress, a cafe is coming soon and the owner said they are planning more models. There is a gift shop with some really unique pieces by local artists, including miniature food sets by the same artist who made some of the exhibitions - limited stock as everything really is handmade. Hard to resist buying everything!
I can't wait to visit again when I'm next in Malaysia.
A note on the location: MinNature is not in the main Sungei Wang Plaza building but an annexe called JUMPA. If you're entering from the main Sungei Wang entrance on Jalan Sultan Ismail, look out for the JUMPA signs and take the escalators to Level 1.

Highly recommended spot to visit when you are in Kuala Lumpur!! Totally amazed by the diorama and miniature collections depicting the Malaysian food, people, culture and heritage architecture as they are highly detailed and nicely planned and crafted by the team. I took about 2.5 hours to tour the whole gallery and enjoyed every bit of it. The founder was very friendly to remind me about the light shows and motion and sound sensors that I could play around. There is also a shop where you can buy miniature souvenirs, etc. at the exit. This gallery is definitely a hidden gem in the city centre worth visiting with family or friends!!

We do enjoy to visit this exhibition with such a detail and realistic Malaysian traditional foods and cuisines. Until the part of buildings in every Malaysian states, we find out that the interior of buildings are somehow not fully detailed and some obvious missing parts. And yet there's hilarious of Marvel superhero figurines in every part of the figure. It is nice to have a future extension of booths.

Unique way to learn about Malaysia's dynamic history and culture. The creator/director was at the front desk, and he was kind enough to share his story and inspiration for the gallery. Support his and the team's passionate work with a visit--you will be happy you did.

Minature is KLs hidden treasure. Not many know about it. A lot of effortand planning has gone into the miniatures. There are miniatures of food, village and town scenes and of different iconic states.
Due to the CMCO I have not been able to travel and this museum introduced me to iconic places in the country. You get a lot of information on the country's history. Most exhibits have hidden moving attractions. Two light shows are included. The attention to detail is incredible. There is also a store where you can buy souvenirs.
Definitely worth a visit!!
