- loonylou78West Sussex, United Kingdom328 contributionsShops shops everywhere!Good grief this place is massive!! I'm pretty sure we never saw all of the stores it's that big! Lots of stores to browse and something for everyones taste and budget. There were also plenty of food options available too from a quick coffee to street food and nice restaurants. The mall was very clean and staff we encountered were all very friendly. Plenty of security around especially at the high end stores and atms. Definitely worth a visit if you're in KL.Visited September 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 20 October 2023
- Creeping_Death_LALos Angeles, California4,516 contributionsChristmas spiritI thought the USA was into decorating for Christmas but KL is way up there on the holiday spirit, every store and shop has decorations. I'm not a fan of malls but it sure was fun to get lost in here. There are so many stores and restaurants all throughout this massive mall. The one thing that is amazing that KL has so many malls throughout this big city and every place seems to be busy.Visited December 2023Travelled with familyWritten 20 December 2023
- Alan K11 contributionsAnother shopping mall, but a good one in BB areaThis is the top rated shopping mall in Bukit Bintang area for good reason. If this is your thing. We found KL shopping over priced when it comes to brand name shopping even compared to western countries. But what separates KL is food options - food is everywhere and options ate plentifullyVisited January 2024Travelled with familyWritten 27 January 2024
- Bangkokgirl2018Phoenix, Arizona162 contributionsEnjoy the experence!High end shopping and great food. You can eat on the cheap with yummy food. So many restaurant’s it will make your head spin. They have a great grocery store on the bottom level that has everything. I bought Belgium chocolate that was out of this world. Everyone is extremely friendly! On my way now!Visited January 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 2 February 2024

- Dan LBunbury, Australia8,785 contributionsShopping Mecca. This is an extensive complex with over 700 retail outlets and restaurants throughout all levels. It was busy when we visited and we did the usual quick browse, arriving at Level 2 where we enquired if there were maps of each floor available. Apparently, the app is the way to go. We passed on the Tourist Reward Card, good for discounts at various stores, spent some more time browsing the high-end outlets and then headed to Dome for a snack. Fascinating place with an array of useful facilities for the visitor, however, have to admit that we found the complex daunting.Visited March 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 1 April 2024
- Robyn B78 contributionsGreat experience!A wonderful experience at a luxury hotel. This is a relatively new hotel attached to the Pavillion Mall in Bukit Bintang area of Kuala Lumpur. Everything is perfect - the rooms are large, with every amenity anyone would want. From check in to check out the staff make the experience unique. The Club Rooms and Club Lounge are excellent The cleaning staff ( hello and many thanks to Norah on the 13th floor) do an incredible job. The Duty Manager (Lyo) is the perfect ambassador for the hotel.Visited April 2024Travelled soloWritten 7 April 2024
- EdgarMumbai, India82 contributionsUpmarket Pavillion MallUpmarket mall with all the brands, high end & mid range. What makes this mall really special is the varied number of restaurants, coffee shops & bars. One can spend a few days here. Shopping is expensive though, but food is reasonable & mid range. Great vibe & ambience, feels a bit like NY Times square outside the mall at nights.Visited May 2024Travelled with familyWritten 26 May 2024
- StepheyTSCSingapore, Singapore519 contributionsGood selection in mall for shoppingVisited on a weekday for lunch and shopping. Ate at Kyochon which has good Korean fried chicken and skewers which we like from JB malls. Mall is massive and can be disorienting for first timers due to lack of directory and clear information for shoppers to self help.Visited June 2024Travelled with familyWritten 12 June 2024
- JoePerth, Australia5 contributionsNice but busyReally nice to walk around but is more on the expensive side of products available. Not too many seats to take a rest and the food court, whilst good is always jam packed. Do not go during Chinese New Year unless it's something you celebrate otherwise, everywhere is going to be busy.Visited February 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 30 June 2024

Brand shopping in Bukit Bintang is concentrated in Pavilion offering Western cosmetics, jewellery and fashion. Many people come here just to stroll around in the cool and stop by for a drink. The open air restaurant area is now smoke free, there is a large food court and supermarket in the basement. The elevated walkway is a practical connection to the other big mall Suria at Petronas Towers.

Pavilion perennially does absolutely grandiose Christmas decorations. This Christmas is no exception. Love the shiny globes reflecting images.
It exudes a premium feel, so does the luxury brands it carry and the price point with it.

The Pavilion is always decorated festively. Nestled in the heart of the Kuala Lumpur tourist district, it is a short walk from many hotels and the metro link. The Pavilion definitely caters for the tourist market, where you will find most upmarket stores. This is not a true representation of Malaysia shopping, however Sungei Wang is a short walk away for more traditional items, foods and souvenirs.

An impressively large shopping and entertainment mall that spans several floors. There isn’t much more that can be said that hasn’t been described by other reviewers already.
It is located in the centre of the Bukit Bintang shopping triangle, a major tourist hub. The boutiques located inside vary across incredibly popular brands from both Western and Eastern mid to luxury labels, in addition to restaurants and food courts catered to different spending budgets. It is a beautiful building and even more so during seasonal periods. I was fortunate enough to experience Kuala Lumpur in the lead up to Diwali and the Pavilion did not disappoint in its recognition of the festival.

If you like high end shopping and enjoy famous big brand, this place is pretty amazing. A lot of shops to see and a lot to buy if you like high end product. The shopping mall itself is pretty huge and it can take up to half a day just to see everything. The center of Pavilion is always fill with decoration. Each visit they will change their decoration base on the festival.

If your thing is super sized malls then you will feel at home here. If you are western and desperate for Starbucks and McDonalds you will feel at home here. Once inside you could be anywhere, it has the same set of shops as the other malls, so if you have been to KLCC or Times Square you could skip here, you will be seeing more of the same same but same.

We were staying at the Shangri-La hotel and wanted to explore the city centre (or CBD). The hotel provided a coach service to Pavilion mall in the so-called triangle vicinity. When we arrived at the mall, the place was greeted with a vibrant sound of Chinese New Year celebrations: drumming, dragon dance, songs. Inside facilities were modern and clean, with high quality offering of products and services, eateries and restaurants. A great day to spend a day with the family, highly recommended for all ages.

This place is look like a new york city of Kuala Lumpur. All branded store and outlets are so big with led screen for advertisement. We dropped here to visit the place. The price is very expensive for buying goods compare to Central Market, and Petaling Street. This is good for peole who loves to shop, and window shopping. However, when you go down here, you may experience a little traffic because there are lots of tourists, and locals visiting this place as well as the road is always full of cars.

One of the most important shopping malls in Kuala Lumpur is here. We were here at Christmas. All the parts were decorated and various shows were held in the center of the complex. There was a big Lego shop here that I was very happy to see. After shopping you can walk the lively streets around.

There is a special card for Pavilion Mall "Tourist Reward Card" involves a lot of offers and discounts. For more information, you may google "Tourist Reward Card / Pavilion Kuala Lumpur". I tried to add the link; however, Tripadvisor does not allow adding links to the comments !

Hi, does the pavilion tourist privilege card require minimum spending before it can be used? Is there any sign up fee involved?
Written 29 October 2018
Hi
We did not have a tourist loyalty card but still found the prices very good value compared to prices in the UK.
