KL Tourism Bureau

The KL Tourism Bureau is located in the beautiful historical building which also known as "Lot 11". It is located in Jalan Tangsi and was built in year 1908 as "Empire Hotel". In 2015, it became the new office for the KL Tourism Bureau. The KL Tourism Bureau is also the starting point for a free guided walking tour, "Old KL & Nature Walk" which runs on every Tuesday & Thursday.

Unassuming on Jalan Tangsi 11

In a historic building on Jalan Tangsi 11 there is a small bureau with information on KL. Friendly staff can provide you with a map of the city, which is more detailed than the one I got at the airport. They have info about the history of the city and what there is to see and do. E.g. they told me about the free GO KL bus, but also about Thaipusam, the Hindu festival that ended yesterday. Should have gone to their office earflier.

A visit is certainly useful.

Located in Jalan Tangsi, the Tourism Bureau is housed in a heritage building known as Lot 11. It is also called 11 Tangsi. Built in 1903, this is one of the finest buildings in the city. The Tourism Bureau assists in the development of tourism products and infrastructure for the city.
