This place is now called PartyBox 360 and located in Mitsui Lalaport mall.
We had a very frustrating experience at this escape room.
Life has pretty much returned to normal, and hardly anyone wears masks anymore here in Malaysia. So, when my partner and I visited this place, we were shocked that the staff insisted we wear masks inside the room. What?! It's an escape room. No one else will be inside the room, just the two of us.
The staff offered to sell us two masks. We were upset but didn't want to spoil the fun, so we reluctantly accepted and put on the masks.
But it got worse. They also gave us plastic gloves and told us we had to wear them.
That was the last straw for me. I threw the mask on the floor and stormed out. I'm NOT going to play an escape room with MASKS and GLOVES on.
Bravo, guys, for having such an outdated and unnecessary mask policy in September 2023. At Breakout and every other escape room in KL, even the staff doesn't wear masks anymore.
Just a tip: If you are still concerned about covid, you can easily disinfect the room with spray after a game without making your customers uncomfortable by forcing them to wear masks and gloves. You are welcome!

Worth a try. I had an amazing time with my family over there. I will be back soon. The appearance is pleasing to the eye and the environment is very good. It makes people feel relaxed too. The facilities are great, it is very fun, and give people want to play many times there. Thanks, guys for the wonderful experience!

I had a great experience spending time with my friends at here. Is a great place that recommended to this who want to have bonding session with your family and friends. The games I play is quite fun and interesting that we able to test our abilities and solve the the puzzle. Highly recommend to this who stay in KL and Selangor to have a try on visiting here to have fun.

Omg, this escape room is so fun! I has a great time and enjoy a lot with my friends. I do recommend to go with your family or cousins. It was a fun experience that I never had in 2 years of MCO. There are four room to choose, and the one I played is subway terror which was quite challenging actually. Hope to try the others room too in coming holiday. Also, they have SOP in place, so it quite safe to go. Highly recommend!

Good themes with fantastic sound system. Tricky yet exciting. The room are quite challenging and the staff is very friendly. Most important is they have a bar just outside the room and we get to hangout at the bar have some ice cold beer. Highly recommended for friends and family for a fruitful weekend .

One of the best experience I had to spend time with my friends after not meeting them for months due to the pandemic. A great place to do bonding sessions and enjoy time with friends. Test your abilities to solve puzzles and mystery in the game that you have selected, and there are so many different themes to choose from!

I’ve done 4 escape rooms here and they are all very good. The puzzles are spot on - simple in its understanding but tricky in completion. The themes are good and the design/interiors are awesome. I recommend Subway Terror.
Better than other escape rooms in KL because they don’t feel impossible or far-fetched but definitely offer a challenge.

This is a very very nice escape room to play with your friends. The difficulty is normal, not so hard and not so easy so it's suitable for everyone. The story line of the escape room is very interesting! The staff was very friendly as well. The escape room was well designed, highly recommended!!!

Went to Fifthroom last week for the Mummy theme. We are quite high expectation at first. But we were wrong.
The female staff is not that friendly, not sure whether she is lack of experience or confidence.
The torch light battery keep running out, we keep on request for changing the torch light.
And the sensor to unlock passcode / mission is not sensitive at all. Even when staff come in to help us out, they have to re-adjust the items position many times then only can unlock and move on to the next mission. And even we request for help, staff were not sure whether the "answer" we give is correct and mislead us.
It is still a nice experience, but, we wont go back in a short time.

Visited Fifthroom on Boxing Day 2018. Played all 4 of their existing rooms on the same day. The most memorable aspect of their games was their ability to incorporate traditional elements of classic escape rooms with simple but effective plot-relevant mechanisms to bring about a sound level of player immersion within the games. The friendly and enthusiastic staff also did a really good job providing just the right amount of hints and assistance so as to facilitate our escape without giving away the answers. Very satisfying escape experience on the whole!
