Stayed in KL for almost five years but I never give myself a chance to visit Kampung Baru till I met LokaLocal. Kampung Baru has been existing in the middle of Kuala Lumpur city for decades but still managed to amaze me with the beautiful heritage of old architectures and the culture of the people. Mr Fuad, the local expert brought us touring around his Kampung and even visiting his home to try out delicious Malay delicacies. He is such a nice person, I did not regret to come back home with knowledge that he has given me about Kampung Baru. Besides, the photos I took during the walk would be a great memory for me to keep! I had fun :)

This is such an amazing experience for us. My kids enjoyed the whole process of doing the Batik journal. It's fun, interactive and they are very happy with the finished products. Highly recommended for parents with kids to join the workshop. Thanks Batik Boutique for this one of a kind experiences. Will be back for sure.

Went for an open house recently where the food was prepared by a Syrian refugee family. It was really eye-opening to learn about their lives in Malaysia. The vegan food prepared was also really delicious. Actually this isn't the first time I joined activities by the host. Last year, I went on one of the trips to Sungai Lima, and the village chief himself brought us around the fishing village. It's next to Pulau Ketam, but isn't as well known. It's surprising to know that there are places in Malaysia I didn't know about - will be looking out for more.

Walked around Klang with a professional and passionate guide, Jasmin. It is safe to say that Jasmin knows Klang inside out, therefore guarantees an informative yet fun tour around. With a subtle sense of humor, Jasmin unfolded the stories of Klang in every step we take, and with the visual aids she prepared, giving us a better understanding of Klang. A truly great tour.

It is hard to put into words how amazing this Private dining experience with Chef Hisham is. The quality, presentation, ambiance here are the perfect quartet for a memorable meal. Lots of chit-chat, great food brings us together! And thanks CJ for serving us Paraguay Tea, we were in awe of it! Hidden pearl!
