About
Food has always been part of our communities. Having multiple ethnicities where you live gives you great chance to be a part of so many celebrations. And with all these celebrations there is always a meal. So you see, us Malaysians take our food very seriously. Food Tour Malaysia Food in Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur is unique. Some dishes here you will not be able to find in other parts of the country, and if you do, chances are that they probably could trace their roots to these 2 cities. Penang being the only other exception. The daily ritual of eating communally is one of the most endearing of Malaysian experiences. It is warm, and it's at the dinner table where you get to really understand and get the authentic 'feel', the heartbeat of the Malaysian community.

Recently did an evening tour with Anna. She was a fabulous guide - so friendly and informative and tourists would never have known about the places she took us. The food was brilliant and I tried everything and loved most of it!
A wonderful evening with brilliant company. Thank you

WHAT A DESSERT! ABC (Air Batu Campur), ice kacang is a popular local dessert consisting of shaved ice topped with syrup or colored syrup, toasted peanuts and evaporated milk. It's a popular dessert commonly sold by street vendors in Kuala Kumpur and all over MALAYSIA! Different choices give different tastes. There are regular ABCs, corn, special and maybe there are wafer sticks as extra. Some stalls have even introduced novelty toppings such as DURIAN and chocolate syrup.

If we can redo this tour again, we would in a heartbeat! Our tour guide Karlson was not only super knowledgable in all of the best food spots that only a someone experience would know, but he also treated us as his friends, making the night memorable and special.

Shout out to Karlson, this tour is the best we've ever been on!

What a way to end our first day in KL! From the moment Carlson met us to the end of the tour he was knowledgeable, curious, generous and fun. We loved the places he took us and the food he had us try. A great way to get out of the city centre and eat like a local.

An amazing culinary experience with the best of the local street / Hawker centre food Malay, Chinese and Indian. Our local foody and guide Karson took us to local off the beaten track food markets. Fare included noodles, the best nasi lemak, fish soup, and the special roti tissue. If you truly want local authentic Malaysian specialties this is the tour for you

Such a great tour! Highly recommend.

I went back in January 2020 with my friend who had been living in KL since August. The food was great, of course, but our guide, Ken, really made the experience. He was courteous, funny, and knowledgable, and I felt like he really enjoyed sharing his favorite spots and meeting new people.

Make sure to show up hungry and to pace yourself so that you're not stuffed before the last stop!

Timothy was a great guide, who also safely drove us to each location. The amount of food was insane. Come hungry! The location of the first stop is a little out of town, but it's an authentic Malaysian eatery. I love that the Chinese stop follows the Chinese market. Having visited from China for CNY, I did not want Chinese food. I already have that! However, the sour noodle soup we ate at the Chinese market was one of the best bowls of noodles I've ever had! Lastly, my only complaint was that we couldn't spend 3+ hours at the Indian restaurant. So delicious! He even took us to the city center at the end of the night. It was a great time. Well worth it. Thanks!
