This imposing structure seems to be sill in the construction or fit-out stage judging by the barriers surrounding. We had to make do with views of the exterior from a variety of vantage points around the city. The outline of the tower is representative of the silhouette of Tunku Abdul Rahman when he raised his right hand and chanted the word “Merdeka!” 7 times on 31 August 1957 and symbolises the union of the historic and contemporary. Our taxi drivers told us that everyone in KL is proud of the structure and its claim to be the 2nd tallest structure after the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. Looking forward to a return visit to KL and views from the observation decks when opened.

Warisan Merdeka Tower, also known as Merdeka 118, is an architectural masterpiece soaring to 678.9 meters. Its unique design and historical significance make it a must-visit landmark in Kuala Lumpur. The observation deck promises breathtaking views, solidifying its status as a symbol of Malaysia's modern identity.

Great skyscraper, 2nd tallest building in the world. Unfortunately it wasn't open when we were there. But when we're back in Kuala Lumpur we'll definitely visit it. We enjoyed the view of it from the Menara Kuala Lumpur TV tower.

You could not miss this in KL. Second tallest building in the world. It has its own uniqueness that it looks like an arm holding a torch with 118 floors and 2227 feet high. It will transform the area into the place to be and live. At the moment it looks out of place with the architecture around the area have so much history from as early as 1880s. It will become the iconic building in the old town of KL. Chinatown is nearby. See the photos.

The second tallest building in the world! Merdeka 118 Tower in Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA. I was attending a business meeting in Kuala Lumpur city centre. While travelling by the efficient LRT (Metro) Trains, I saw this mighty structure, the MERDEKA 118 Tower - 2nd tallest building in the worls. Futuristic design. Must visit the top level floors very soon.....

Amazing city, clean and tidy and with a wonderful skyline. Very economical city with 5-star hotels for a few euros and with any type of restaurant.
I recommend climbing the Petronas Towers, a unique architectural work.
I recommend visiting China town and the night market in the centre.
Traveling by taxi is always the best solution as they are externally cheap and efficient.
The local people are always incredibly kind.

I didn't visit the tower as it's still under construction and there is nothing nearby transport wise. What I did do was go to the old Merdeka Sq which is nice and you also get a good view looking across to the tower from there. Which was enough for me.

Breathtaking to see this majestic building while I was heading towards chinatown. It’s interesting to see such a gigantic building sticking out towards the sky where it’s surroundings are smaller unassuming buildings.

Nothing to see - it is close and there is nothing around. Consider that if you are walking the heat is not easy and when you get the place is the building still under construction even when google mark that is open. I would recommend just to see it from any rooftop
