Malaysia is blessed with both nature and man made marvels. The twin towers is one of the most significant man made marvel we saw. (Eiffel and Burj Khalifa ofcourse) But this structure stands out for its unique pattern. We kept craning our necks to Starr at the towers. We booked the tkts through Klook and the entry was very seamless. We made sure we arrive on time. There was another family who had missed the time by 15-20mins but were not allowed in. So make sure you are on time. The staff showing around are very nice and courteous. We enjoyed our walk on the bridge and the deck at the top.
Just below the towers is the KLCC Surya Mall and behind are the fountains and garden. lots of thing to do around Petronas! We went there almost everyday during our stay in KL

The Twin Towers are a must-see place in Kuala Lumpur. We have been here 7 years ago. This time we brought our parents and our kid together. Very beautiful and magnificent view at night! There is a big shopping mall nearby with many restaurants and cuisine. You can spend half day here and will not feel bored.

Some things you just have to see for yourself to fully appreciate, and these twin towers are among them. They are an amazing engineering feat coupled with innovative artistic touches that make them absolutely stunning to view. We found the right spot for photos and then just stared and stared in wonder and gratitude. We also believe the towers are the perfect symbol for a Malaysia that is forward-moving into a better future fast.

Ok, these towers built by the Petronas oil company are an amazing sight just to see, but wait, you can go up to the bridge between them and then up to the observation deck at the top. The views of Kuala Lumpur are amazing, and even better during sunset. We happened to have a big thunder and lightening storm while we were up on top. It was magical. This is worth the price and yes they have a gift shop.

I visited the observatory. Since the number of people to enter is limited for each time zone, it is better to purchase tickets as soon as possible. The ticket office may be a bit confusing, but it is in the basement. Proceed in the direction described as "Petronas Tower visit".
First, tour the passage connecting the two towers, 170m high. After that, you can move further up and enjoy the view of Kuala Lumpur from the 86th floor.

Petronas towers is one of the architectural marvels one should not miss when in KL. The view from the observation deck is breathtaking. The tour is well organised and they allow sufficient time on each deck for the tourists to enjoy the view. There is a coffee shop and a souvenirs shop on the deck as well.

Ensure that you book the tickets online in advance else you will end up being disappointed on the day of your visit. The fountain show is also good and gives a good view of the petronas tower lit up!

Plan to visit around 4 in the evening so that you can catch the night view as well. The Klcc suria mall is a nice place to spend few hours. It has lot of eateries and luxury brands.

The fabulously iconic twin buildings are the main landmark of KL.
It is better to go early in the morning before hot weather and to take photos from the back garden around the fountain
It is easily accessible through pavalion mall by the covered bridge ..it will take about 15 min walk
Or you can use the monorail ( bukit nanas station)
Or by hop on hop off
Or by taxi / Grab
I didn't pay for the observation deck in Petronas as I went to KL Tower observation deck before.

There is a simplicity of design with these towers that makes them more impressive. The fact that they are a pair adds to the status that they have achieved and I am pleased that we got to see them.

I was less pleased about the sizeable shopping mall at the base of the towers but my wife enjoyed the range of outlets available.
