About
No trip to KL would be complete without a visit to the world's tallest twin towers. The skyscrapers are utterly stunning, particularly when illuminated at night. The Twin Towers Visit Operations is open Tuesday through Sunday and tickets are released at 8:30 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. To avoid disappointment, you can purchase your ticket in advance via online ticketing or at the Ticketing Counter, Concourse Level.

They are impressive
Dec 2020
Kuala Lumpur was a lay over stop for my wife and I's honeymood trip to Borneo. We really wanted to see these towers and visit KLCC park, which is about all we had time for. the towers were closed by the time we got there, so we didn't get to go to the top..but WOW! are they impressive!!!

Great security guards
May 2021 • Family
The security guards are great. They are just about the only best thing about this awful carbon emmitting place. Do they have to turn on those high powered lights? Think of carbon emissions this place generates.

What tower?
May 2021 • Family
People treat this tower like a shrine. It is not. It is a rather ugly concrete towers. My personal opinion, it is not nice.

Petronas Twin Towers
Mar 2021
The true icons and a symbol of modern Malaysia. They've been photographed and featured in so many movies, programs that they hardly need any introduction. I've seen the Empire State Building NYC, Shard in London, Burj Khalifa Dubai, Sky 100 Hong Kong but these are my my favorite skyscrapers. It's only 88 floors high but there is just something about the building's design and islamic architecture that makes it somehow unique.

I've been there both day/night and the best (and unfortunately the busiest) time is always the evening when the towers light up and fountains come to life. And if you're there exactly at the right time in right place, it seems like two steel rockets are ready for lift-off to scrap the sky. A totally different kind of experience.

The towers are the HQ of oil & gas giant Petronas who are also the owners. Other residents include tech giants like Microsoft, IBM, Huawei, Boeing, Al Jazeera Tv etc that call it home in Malaysia.

Don't go seeing Petronas Twin Towers during Malaysia's Monsoon Seasons
Feb 2020
I first came to Kuala Lumpur in October 2019 in the midst of the country's Northeast Monsoon with the primary reason to see Petronas Twin Towers up close and to take several pictures of her. I stayed in the city for 3 days and 3 nights with a long list of tourist attractions to go to but my itinerary got all screwed up because of one thing that I failed to take note of --> their Northeast Monsoon! It was raining like crazy the whole time for 3 days and all my previous attempts to take an Instagram-worth picture of Petronas Twin Towers have failed (full story on my blog page). I went back home to my country with a heavy heart. But my low spirit motivated me to come back and plan more carefully. I booked another flight back to Kuala Lumpur two months after. December to February is the best season to visit Kuala Lumpur according to my Malaysian friend and I didn't go wrong this time. I revisited Petronas Twin Towers on the 5th of December and I was more certain that I will get positive results. The weather at 8:30 pm was at its best, with a 26°C temperature and clear skies, everything was destined to be a perfect day. I managed to take several shots which may not be perfect but I was happier than my first few attempts two months ago. Some locals can also be seen around selling gadgets, selling souvenir pictures, providing photography services, or offering an extended lens for taking better photos of the two towers using your own mobile phones. These focal lenses are being sold at RM35 but I heard many foreign visitors who are good at haggling and they get the deal for RM20 which includes taking the pictures for you.
