Make sure you visit each side of this building so you can have Stunning opportunities for great photos. Avoid the hustle where the “professionals” are trying to make a living by visiting the water park side where you can photo without the hassle and enjoy the fountain show to music at night AMAZING

Me and my wife went to Malaysia with little or no idea what was waiting for us. But We hired Mr. SHARAD for city tours. He was the most generous person I have ever met. Father like figure to us. He told us the history of all the buildings. Malaysia tour wouldn't be the same if it was not Mr. SHARAD.

Definitely a MUST-SEE. No need to go with a tour group for this, since Petronas Towers does a great job of putting you into groups where a guide takes you with your group. Guide gives the general overview, so you may want to do your own research about the towers prior to your visit. This was VERY ORGANIZED, and all tourists on this day were respectful, making for a great tour.
For tickets, just get on the website and purchase them. If you get the popular 'sold out' like we did, no need to fret. They reserve some tickets for walk-ins. We went after breakfast, about 10:30am and were in line for tickets. We were able to get tickets for a later time, so we spent it taking pictures, having a light bite, and walking the beautiful KLCC mall. When our time came up, we got in line and joined a group. Super low-stress!

We have been to KL several times and visited the external site of the towers. However until now had never been to the top. Well I am so glad we did. The views are awesome and well worth the trip. You get a really good idea of the layout of the city from up high. The experience is easy and well organized. We did buy tickets online in advance, mainly because we were on a tight schedule, but they had sold out for that day

Petronas Twin Towers are probably the most visited tourist destination in KL. At just under 452 metres, the 88-storey twin structure, which took six years to complete, is Kuala Lumpur's crown jewel and remain the tallest in the world, a status that has remained unchallenged since completion in1996, boasts the official website.
The Towers are best visited when fully lit in the evening and tourists have the opportunity to watch the spectacular colourful water fountain show. Guided tours are also offered in the evenings. For more information on this head to the ticketing office on the concourse level.
There are shops, restaurants, coffee and ice-cream parlours in the mall below.
Truly a wonder.

The tower itself is very nice but we were not welcomed by locals who work as photographers there. They can easily be identified as their cameras is only an iphone and a square bracket and a flash. They did not let us take photos before the twin towers because we were blocking the view of their paid clientele. It was a public place but even though they demanded priority for taking photos. They don't appreciate that Tourists come to take photos near the twin towers. If you are not a paid clientele, they will push you away. They lack a bit of respect towards tourists who come to visit malaysia don't like if we don't take their paid photo services. We would have appreciated if security could be provided so that tourist can continue to come and enjoy Malaysia.

Enjoyed our visit. Very well organised with helpful and polite staff. Book well in advance to get your time slot and arrive about 15 mins before. Good souvenir shop.

The Twin Towers are best to be visited during the evening but can also be enjoyed during the daytime. It is fully booked during our stay in KL so we didn’t get a chance to tour what was inside.
There are people who will offer to take your photos outside which is good if you are traveling alone.
That is 10-15 RM. Make sure to haggle as much as you can.

Has anyone from the US figured out a way to purchase e-tickets directly from the official Petronas Towers website? The options offered on TripAdvisor are much more expensive than the actual ticket cost. Unfortunately the Petronas website does not accept Visa, Mastercard, GooglePay, ApplePay or even payment from any US banks.

I went at lunch time to Petronas basement ticket counter and got a 3pm slot no problems and the shopping centre had the best food court ever. Staff were very helpful

Hallo Pepita,
MFG Olaf
