Highly overrated. Only good thing about the place is the view. Also during this covid times why isn't any social distancing practices being followed at your place. People come there to destress and become more stressed seeing the amount of people. Food and drinks were super average with hefty bill

We were staying at Mandarin Oriental and realised that this bar was right next door, so after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor we decided to pop by. From the entranceway on the street we had to take 3 separate lifts! with staff directing at each floor/area, we also had to go through a security check. It took more than 5 minutes to actually get to this bar from stepping through the front door of the building.
We had tried to make a reservation online for a window seat earlier that day, but bookings can only be made more than 1 day in advance. However, we were very lucky and the waitress was able to get us a window seat in the far corner of the bar - unfortunately in the smoking section but beggars can't be choosers! and luckily there were very few people smoking.
The bar has floor to ceiling glass windows and there are several tables next to the window - about 1-2 feet away from the glass. The bar stools are comfortable, in fact we stayed for 3 drinks each as we were enjoying the happy hour so much! Happy Hour is 5-9pm with cheaper drinks and there are 3 cocktails to choose from. A mojito, a fruity passionfruit cocktail and a cucumber gin cocktail which sounds gross but was actually delicious! and ended up being our favourite. All 3 cocktails are priced at 36MYR each.
Service was fast and friendly. We visited on a friday night (7.30-9pm) and it was very busy, every table was full. The music was great! maybe a bit loud but a fantastic party mix to want you to get up and dance.
There is a small outside terrace seating area, but there are large glass panels along all edges so views are no better than from inside. There is one great photo opportunity in the middle of the terrace area, with the Twin Towers looming behind - fab photo! Luckily it was quiet when I popped out to take photos, as the seating area was closed due to bad weather/rain.
Located right next to the Petronas Twin Towers. Pre-book bar tables at the windows for cocktails and bar snacks. Cocktails priced 35-50MYR (upto £10). Happy Hour is 5-9pm with cheaper drinks. Smart casual attire, so no shorts or vests. Open daily from 5pm until late.

Exceptional! I have eaten in many fine dinning restaurants around the world including the fat duck, the Cliff in Barbados and Bennelong in Sydney but this is arguably the best. Views are mesmerising and food exceptional. Service was also faultless. Perhaps we were fortunate to hit it at a quiet time but I doubt it would have mattered.
Price is what you would expect in a place of this quality.
If there was one slight critism our subsequent trip to the bar was less enjoyable with a bit of a misunderstanding over the bill. But it didn’t spoil a memorable evening.

Celebrated my birthday with hubby here. Love the Italian food and nicely decorated table. Nice view, nice people and we really enjoyed our time here.

I don’t recommend this restaurants if it is for your special guest.
1)Although I pre-ordered dessert as surprising birthday plate for guest, they didn’t serve it for a long time even though I followed up. It seems they forgot it.
At the end, the guest asked me what we were waiting for because it took so much time after main dish. The atmosphere was totally spoiled.
2) They also forgot to bring first sparkling wine for cheer. We started some food with just water.
3) They also totally made us wait for a long time to bring receipt because they forgot it. It was just left behind the cashier. Again I needed to follow up.
We are very disappointed.

I booked Marinis for my mums birthday. We had drinks in the bar beforehand and then dinner in their Italian restaurant. Yes it is pricey but look at the location! And the quality of both the food and the service is up there with some of the best that I have experienced in the world.
The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my mum had a truly memorable experience and the food was mesmerising. It may have cost a bit but in my eyes it was definitely worth splashing out on!

We booked a table for 2 at the bar here for Saturday night. They accepted my booking over the phone. They did not mention the dress code didn't allow shorts!
We were turned away at the door.

Rather than pay up to $80 for a pasta dish at Marinis restaurant, which we thought was rather expensive, we opted to book a table at the bar restaurant. The bar tables are actually at the window, which I wasn’t expecting, so the views over KL were amazing. We ordered mini tacos and a couple of cocktails, which were reasonably priced.

Hi, I'm going to KL to celebrate new year's eve. Can someone help me how to rsv one table for me and my friends? also how much for our minimum spending to get a great table?

No min spending. Go to their website and you can get the phone number there.
How is the food? Do they have seafood & Vege there?
LatchezarL

The food is nothing special, but the service and the view are excelent. Seafood they have, for the vegeterian not sure. In my opinion one goes to such places to see the others and to be seen, to have an amazing view and to spend a relevant amount of money for that. For a special and tasty food go with your friend to a small restaurant anywhere in the world or cook at home - nothing can be more tasty :)
Can I enquire about the Bar's minimum consumption for a person?
