Located close to the Go KL purple bus route, the museum is a accessed via a courtyard. The original kiosk was not manned, and everything looked a little run down. However on ascending the stairs it became clear that this was work in progress. The museum is accessed in the corner and is nicely air conditioned. The ground floor has... More

The museum is housed in a well-maintained neoclassical heritage building. The surroundings are a little untidy due to ongoing renovations. Tickets are sold at the first floor right at the entrance of the gallery (RM6 for Malaysians, RM11 for foreigners, discounts for children and students). Once you're inside, you're treated with a vast amount of well-written panels detailing the development... More

There is a cost to visit this museum. Found it to be very small, but gives you good knowledge and history on telecommunications in the country

Nice small museum. Super helpful staff. Just enough, but not too much on the exhibits so I actually read them. Learned quite a bit in the hour or so we were there. Close by to the canopy rainforest walk and other attractions

This museum is located close to KL tower and it features the history of world telecommunication with emphasize on Malaysia. The ticket fee is inexpensive and visitors can use free wi-fi located upstairs.

Before we could see the exhibits for free. Now there are payments based on citizenship and nationality. So Malaysians pay RM6.00 per entry. Ok the building is nice. The exhibits are good to learn. How to memorize everything but is good for studying the history of telecommunications including the use of Elephants and kayaks....Do set aside two hours for the visit. Also the canteen is... Interesting collection of telecoms items, well displayed with detailed labeling in English and Malay. Not just about telecoms though as the exhibits, videos etc also tell the wider history of Malaya/Malaysia. Staff very helpful and welcoming, especially Tony who gave us an insight into some of his favourite exhibits. Thanks Tony, really enjoyed the visit.

Entrance fee RM11 Quite a small museum consisting of a couple of rooms on the ground floor. The upper floor is just web browsers, which are not historical. Worth a visit if you're nearby and interested in Telecoms, otherwise give it a miss. Café is a small, and very basic, canteen eatery. Get coffee elsewhere.
