One of the best places to shop for souvenirs as they offer various of them for convenient price. You see some of the real KL mixed with what can only be described as tourist traps. If you've never been to a street market like this before, you really should go. The main attraction of china town is "Petaling Street", which... More

The market is buzzing and fun, colourful. Good place to get really good local food in canteen style. Enjoy!

Yes it is very touristic, very busy and hot but also nice to walk around and see the many good or bad fake stuff like sunglasses, watches (one Chinese man was trying to sell a real Romex, yes not a Rolex;) ), bags and many clothing. You can also have a beer or eat something but we didn't really trust... More

Used to San Francisco China Town, much more upscale. This China town was very seedy really I would give it C-. However, worth a visit to see it. If traveling take the Hop-on, Hop-off bus, they will take you to all the sights, we did not take advantage of this until the last day, instead spend a few days navigating... More

The place offers a spectrum of various goods from souvenirs, caps, bags, luggages to food, electronics etc. The initially stated price by the vendors is 4-5 fold higher than their expectations. The best would be to show less interest and retreat while making an offer which is 1/4 th the asking price. It is likely that the vendor comes behind... More

Not too impressed, with only the standard fair. Can't compare to those in Bangkok or Taiwan, either in the novelty of the goods or the choice of food.

There is more than one place that says Chinatown. Just north of the General Market there is an enormous number of small shops. My wife found a quality purse of good value. We did not get it right away but returned to buy it. I also bought some Chinese herbs from herbal stores in Chinatown. Of course there a lot... More

One of the best places to shop for souvenirs as they offer various of them for convenient price. A good thing is that the market is air conditioned.

Very nice city in the city in KL, bustling with activities and shops as you might expect from a typical Chinatown. The main street is really nice. Try one of the teahouses there, it is worth the experience.

We went for food, lots of fruits and drinks to keep hydrated. Fun place to explore food. Loads of fake goods, but we didn't go for shopping so not much comment on this.
