    Nice place to visit
Very nice and interesting place. The staff there are very helpful and friendly. Special thanks to our tour guide, Yin. From her explanation we learned about their history and product making. We also had a great experience at the Hard Knock School and will be booking The Foundry Workshop session for our next visit.

    Don't miss their display gallery
You will be welcomed here with a welcome drink followed by a walk around the factory. Dont miss the Pewter beer mug at the entrance...huge and heavy ! The walk around the display gallery was beautiful, each artefact made of pewter including dinner sets, wine glass set, several portraits, marvel miniatures and so on. They have a small and cozy cafe inside - you can rest before you head out for your tours. Overall an amazing experience.

    Must visit
Surprisingly the tour is free! You will get a welcome drink too. Its an educational trip for me and my family. Special thanks to our guide, Jasmin. She is friendly and gave us comprehensive explanation over pewter history and making! There is a workshop at the end if you would like to craft a pewter souvenir.

    A best Cantonese Guider
I have to say i'm pleasantly surprised. Nicky, my guide an excellent Cantonese speaker, she is a beautiful girl, she was very friendly and enthusiastic about the history of the factory and she kept me interested and informed. The demonstrations while on the tour were good to watch and makes you realise how special this process is and how intricate the items are to make.

    Craftsmanship at its best
The tour was very informative and such an eye opener! Our guide, Jasmine, is very knowledgeable and answered our queries with patience and always with a smile. It was also such a treat to witness traditional craftsmanship in action at the factory tour!

    Thank you Poh & Affika!
Excellent afternoon experience at Royal Selangor! We thoroughly enjoyed making a personalised pewter bowl with Affika in the workshop, and also loved our very interesting and speedy tour from Poh - he taught us about the company history, the significance of the pewter industry in Malaysia, and we got to view live demonstrations on the factory floor of some different products being made by very skilled craftspeople. A great trip out :)

Great place to go for a slice of malaysian history!
This is a great place to visit if you are looking for a slice of malaysian history. The tour content was very well and tastefully planned. We had a great and insightful visit thanks to our friendly and very patient tour guide Qi. Overall, it was a very good experience. Great place to go for all ages as it is well equipped with workshop activities and also cafe for food as well.

A different kind of experience in this visitor center
We did a walk in and they have people to give us an English guided tour around the facilities and museum. We later found out that they provide transportation to major hotels for free. The tour and museum is free, however we paid to do foundry and knocking classes which was fun for our kids. We made a few pewters to take home. We dealt with Poh (tour guide) and Hafiz (the instructor). Both are professional and knowledgable. I would recommend this tour.

Booking system for The Foundry failed us twice. Tried to call the visitor centre on both occasions, but was directed to the same user unfriendly online booking system.

We spent the morning at the Foundry to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and we had a great time. Safwan who was our guide at the Foundry was simply amazing, patient and gave us a great insight to making ornaments from pewter. A must visit for all.
