Really nice place to walk around with fantastic views of KL. Can be very busy holidays and weekends . Some of the toilets a bit disgusting and smelly.

We have moved three weeks ago from the suburbs to central Kuala Lumpur here in Malaysia. This weekend, we decided to visit the Titiwangsa lake or Task, which is just few kilometres away from my home.
I visited with my wife and teenaged son on Sunday afternoon. There were no problems with parking. Entrance is free. We found youngsters, adults and the elderly enjoying themselves. Bicycles and tandem bicycles are available for rent, with the young and families enjoying their ride around the lake.
The surroundings are green with tall trees providing considerable shade - not that it was hot. There was cool breeze blowing in from the lake. Families were seated on the grass and some were enjoying tea and snacks. One gets fantastic views of the Petronas twin towers, the KL tower and other skyscrapers at downtown KL. I also remember in 2008, there used to be a giant Ferris wheel here known as the "Eye on Malaysia". Sadly, it is no longer here.
This visit to Titiwangsa lake reminded me of an unhurried time during my childhood in India. Totally relaxing and worth a repeat visit on any day of the week.

A great park to visit - they have many things:
- Lake with fish and turtles
- Small water park for kids
- Bicycle lanes
- Little hedge maze
- Area to play Netball/Badminton/Rollerblade/Outdoor dancing
- Area along the lake to practice yoga
- Clear walking paths
Only negative is the trash in the lake - someone really needs to clean that up.
Go early to avoid the crowds!

The park itself makes for a good stroll but the staff should be trained. I have been physically assaulted by an absolute mad staff 15 minutes before closing time literally shouting at me and pushing me back to the gate - totally unprovoked.

A suitable place to get the fresh air, relax or do nothing. Used to be place for ‘Eye On Malaysia’.. Best place for you to enjoy the beautiful of Kuala Lumpur with ferris wheel ( relocate to Malacca in late 2008 ).

Loving this newly opened park. So many new different activities catering to families. It can be crowded during the weekends, but nevertheless it's a really good place for families and friends to enjoy with everyone from different communities coming together. Parking can be really a hassle there, wish there were signage to show where to park so it's pretty much jam all the way in. Let's keep this place clean and safe for our children to enjoy and have fun with all the kids.

Work has been done around the small Titiwangsa lake with new fences and buildings to make the recreational area more wellcoming. Nothing is though yet open, there is a food court nearby. The area is blocked from the city side by a busy highway and construction sites but it is possible to walk there from Chow Kit monorail past the Hospital KL.

Nice park but everywhere quite exposed to the sunshine and when we visited no where open to buy a cool drink. Does have a nice fountain and some lovely views of the twin towers. The skywalk is tiny....

Do we have to pay for the entrance? Is it all free?

Yes. It's free to walk around and enjoy the park. However, you can hire bicycles, electric bicycles and small boats for a fee. There are also places to eat and vendors selling drinks.
Where to park

There is lots of parking available. Whichever direction you come from it would be easier if you come in through the main entrance. there will beplenty parking bays designated or you could just park infront of the food stalls.

although i don't see any no fishing or no swimming signage (it use to have), do not recommend to fish or swim there as the lake is not that clean, you can see a lot of alga inside the lake. not sure if you want to eat the fish that live in there.
