I feel obliged to publish this review in order to give potential visitors a more balanced view of the centre.

We visited on a weekday with young children, and they had a fun morning exploring all the interactive exhibits. The entrance fee is low (free for kids 6 and under!). There were a few visiting kindergartens and primary schools but it was still large enough that the crowds moved through quickly enough for everyone to have a go.

There are some exhibits with set timings, so it's worth finding out what those are at the entrance to better plan your trip. Overall a good way to spend a few hours learning in a fun way with your kids.

Was here multiple times, bringing different age groups touring this center, from preschoolers to secondary teens. Used to visit this place when I was a secondary student, found it boring, and nothing much has changed. Not suitable for teens nor adults, nothing challenging. For younger kids, they will find it fun to explore, run around, hands-on. You will need to pay extra to enter the dinosaur encounter section & the Obskura XR section on the first floor. It's alright to visit once, but that's it. On a busy day, there may be over 30 buses visiting a day. Tickets can't be purchased before hand, no online ticketing, you can only buy them there on that day. Water bottles & big bags are not allowed to be brought in, leave them with the security guards. Conclusion, this place is more like a museum than a science center.

100% disappointed with National Science Center management. Came here because I saw their website stated that the Center is now open to public, but then when I arrived, the Center was CLOSED.

Went there on a Sunday and it was full so we came back on Tuesday and the whole place was almost empty and we get to enjoy all the things on our own.

All the staffs here are very polite and pleasant that it make the place even more enjoyable.

Many things to try out and such an informative place for young children.

For such a cheap price, this place is a definitive must go for everyone visiting KL.

Well organised and the exhibits are frequently sanitised. The staff were friendly and ensure all patrons maintain the required level of hygiene when in premise. Overall great experience with the kids!

A cloud chamber is an instrument for visualising ionising radiation. I never would have thought that there would be one in our very own Science Centre. It is worth a visit if only to stare at the streaks of alpha particles whizzing by the earth.

Dirty and old and half of the things in this museum are broken and not working. Such a wast of time. I went with my little child, but the sections for kids were closed. Really nothing to do there :(

This place is pretty poor to be called a science museum. 30% of the exhibits don’t work, and the ones that do - you have to pay. It’s very dirty, not child friendly at all. Toilets are disgusting, holes in the plaster in the walls. We wasted half a day in travelling to and from this place and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Go to the one at KLCC mall - it’s by far better.
