Never been so close to an Ostrich!

I knew ostriches were big but I didn't know they were huge. Found out about this when I was at KL Bird Park. Besides this, I also manage to feed these towering birds. Lets just say that these birds really have a good appetite, gobbled up everything in lightning speed. It was definitely something to remember. Besides ostriches, there were... More

This is one of the best attractions in KL. The entire park looks to be extremely well maintained, and the animals are in great condition. I think the eagles cages/enclosures are to small for the types of birds that they are, and hopefully something will be done about that as the rest of the park is fantastic. Make sure you... More

SIngapore's Jurong bird park is great. I visited KL's bird park with some apprehension and was blown away. OK, a few steps and seats need a little maintenance(which was being carried out) and there was the usual litter problem - but the park is amazing. I rate it better than Singapore's, and definitely superior to Bali's. OK, it gets hot,... More

Hi, We are so much happy we found time in our very tight schedule in Kl and visited Bird Park. The area around the park also includes Butterfly park, Planetarium, Museum of Islamic Art, Police Museum, the biggest Mosque in KL (Mesjid Negara) etc. So lots of things to do and see in one place. Really nice! As for Bird... More

My first experience at the KL Bird park was in 1995 when I was a university student and it was so exciting and wonderful. The latest visit was with my son. He was esctatic and full of excitement looking at the wonderful and colourful birds around him. It was always as what I expected at KL bird park or even... More

A suitable place to bring the family, especially the kids. In fact, its better than the national zoo. The information counter is polite and provides sufficient information on any questions that you might have. The collection of birds: beautiful and angelic. I was indeed impressed with the number of species available in the bird park. The facilities seem to be... More

I never was a bird lover but this attraction was really impressive. It might be not so interesting for people who live in this region but for the ones from North Europe there are a lot to see.

I usually am not a massive fan of animal attractions, I dont really enjoy seeing caged animals. However, I'd heard good things about the bird park and decided to give it a go. I glad I did! I could have spent an entire day in the bird park. I went quite late in the day and it was very quiet,... More

kl Bird Park is easily accessible by taxi and is near other attraction such as the Orchid Gardens and the Butterfly farm. The kids got to feed some parrot and that make their day. Great display of birds, and there is little cafes so you can get a fresh drink or an ice-cream, prices are fare. The Bird show was... More
