- Κωνσταντίνος ΔAthens, Greece3,984 contributionsBerjaya Times Square Shopping Mall in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is a must visit shopping paradise in Kuala Lumpur.Berjaya Times Square Shopping Mall in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is a very big shopping mall in Bukit Bintang (=Star Hill), the main shopping area of Kuala Lumpur, within a colossal construction (48 storey twin tower complex) with uncountable retail stores, many eateries, entertainment possibilities, hotel, condominiums, even a grand indoor Theme Park [(from 5th to 8th floor), the second biggest in Asia], and situated very close to Imbi Monorail Station. In the Berjaya Times Square Shopping Mall in Kuala Lumpur you could find everything you are looking for at reasonable prices (about 1000 retail shops) and enjoy food at the big food court on the ground floor or at various restaurants (and/or coffee shops). In this gigantic building (the 5th largest in the world by floor area) shopping and going around is an entertaining event because there is nothing missing from here (Fashion, Food, Entertainment). I enjoyed my visit to the Berjaya Times Square Shopping Mall in Kuala Lumpur, I experienced some folklore events (e.g. traditional dances from Indonesia) and I will visit it again, if I will be in the Capital City of Kuala Lumpur.Visited March 2020Written 28 April 2020
- puchkaBengaluru, India1,792 contributionsImportant shopping centreThis red coloured building is a hotel-cum-conference centre-cum shopping mall that is accessible by road, tunnel and monorail. A delight to visit and look out for the grand Malaysian sales. We have stayed before in this hotel and enjoyed the ambience and breakfast. A must visit for shoppers.Visited December 2019Travelled as a coupleWritten 1 January 2020
- SingleSoul7Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia41 contributionsA Central Place for Affordable ShoppingTimes Square is a good place for shopping. You can buy very affordable artificial jewellery, clothes and shoes of moderate quality. The mall is accessible via Monorail Ibmi station. Sometimes it can be difficult to park in Times Square, you can park in Plaza Sungei Wang which is just located at 5 minutes walk to Times Square through a linked bridge. Chances of finding a car park slot in Sungei Wang are high as compared to Times Square. Once you are in Times Square, you can also visit Plaza Lowyat, which is the best place to buy technology and electronic gadgets such as smartphones, laptops, accessories etc.Visited January 2020Written 7 January 2020

What a terrible experience! The reception hall is the only good thing about this hotel.
Our first room, rejected at 1am after a long flight from NZ, was awful. Sodden, filthy carpet, tacky, run down furnishings, everything about it was horrid. The reception staff didn't bat an eyelid when we complained, and we were moved to another room, barely better and no view of the NYE fireworks, but at least the carpet was dry.
The bathroom should have been overhauled 20 years ago.
There was no deaf awareness in the reception at all amongst the female staff, despite my politely asking them to stand back 2m so they could take off their masks and I could lipread them
A big no no.
Disliked our whole experience with this hotel, which, by the way, was chosen by our English agent who should have known better.

In short, it is BTSKL. Wonderful mall opposite the hotel I stayed exactly, but had to go through a bridge. Multi story complex having many shops, restaurants, food courts, stalls, spas and many others. Good for shopping, dining or for a walk.

My friends and l went on a gourmet trip to KL for 2N /3D stay going with Aeroline bus group.
We selected the apartment for its excellent location near the foodie enclaves we earmarked for our die die must eat places.
We took a long time to check into the service apartment in the West block. The apartment condition needs upgrading. The WiFi did mot work.
The housekeeping standard was missing.
The location was excellent for our food eating and tasting in the imbi/bkt bintang area. The ICC Pudu was a ten minute walk or RM5/6 by Grab. Chinatown was RM 10 by Grab.
Do not recommend this service Suites at Times Square even though it is low cost and convenient.

It was good and different types of shops…..good place if want to do nails as there was soooooo many of them (not sure if good as never did them there) , There are average price shops and some places can bargain to get better price. Will Definitely go back if need clothes on average price. Only thing did not have proper direction of where things were and the amusement park was definitely NOT worth the money if have older kids as had to pay more for some rides on top of the entrance fees which is already expensive.

Probably won’t come here a second time except for the fact that the bus I take use this location as a boarding/alighting point. The shops within are just neighborhood hood ones and are quite repetitive. There is really nothing much for tourist other than the medi and pedicure. And probably the two k-pop paraphernalia shop. There’s also a sort of theme park but it is quite deserted and this speaks volume how many visitors this place has.
Oh yes. There’s a nice Starbucks near the drop-off. The ground floor is quite well designed, while it appears that the designer ran out of steam for first floor.

My last visit to Time Square was 17 years ago.
Watching movies at IMAX and shopping still fresh in mind.
Today all these memories just a dream moving ahead as cockroaches infested at toilets.
Famous outlet brands are missing and looks like a decorated night market at mall.

A surplus of stopping here. Somany shops of different types. We acquired a camera lens which we had looked high low for. And to finish off there is an amusement park with roller coaster in the roof.

Planning to book 5 nights for two room in October at your hotel via hotel website, either premier or premier twin tower view room. I understand there are two wings and private apartments. I wish to book rooms (not privately owned apartments) where the hotel reception is located as we are also attending a wedding reception at your hotel. Could you please suggest which room (premier or twin tower view premier) is located within the same wing as hotel reception? Any suggestion welcome. Thank you.

If you book at the hotel, you will not get any priovate apartment, the tower that are private apartments is located to the left and the hotel is to the right, if you stand out front of the building.

We were not certain about the quality of electronics from this mall even though things were cheaper here; bought apple watch and other electronics from KLCC. Thanks. 👍
