Little India! Love going for authentic Indian food there. Very lively and busy street market. I suggest to take public transport.

The many stalls covering formerly the area dominated by Indian textile shops have been moved away from the street offering space for pedestrians. Elegant white stone benches have been placed for people to rest on, this is a busy neighbourhood with many wholesale emporiums, a tall shining white building the newest one. A flower inspired awning has been erected in front of the mosque.

Visitors were mostly Muslim as the stall owners along the pathway are all Muslim too. They were friendly even though I was looking for the hand gloves and asking for the the price but ended up without buying. Crowded and busy area. Very near to Masjid Jamed LRT station.

In a street where you have the opportunity to look n buy things you will be lost for choice. As for walking through the shops n tents is a happy occasion n you just have to soak in the atmosphere.....you can buy so many things especially clothes n head gear....just prepare ur money

An interesting place to visit, where you will for sure find many many shops selling cheap and a great amount of food options however, might not be for everyone because the shops here are specific and it can get very crowded and hot during the day.

The place where you can shop till you drop all within one area. Crowded almost every weekend started from Friday evening until Sunday night especially towards Hari Raya and Deepavali festivals. From clothes, dress, shirts, pants, shoes, head dress like tudung, selendang, watches, jewelleries, children and big boys toys, electronics equipment, everything you name it, all here. If you are tired, then relax yourself at the food stalls and restaurants either Malay, Indian, western styled or fast food all nearby. Or you can enjoy the Malaysian street food such as rojak, cendol, kebab, hot dog, burgers, satay celup (dip satay), fried banana, pizza, fresh fruits and fruits juice, anything.
There are also hotels nearby if you wish to stay for a night or two for continuous shopping. If you travel by public transport, don't worry. Bus, train and LRT station also just within the vicinity.
If you boring at night, enjoy watching movie at nearby theatre.

Is it Abaya or Kebaya? I believe they are both available there. At the side street vendors or during the weekly night market on Saturday or Sundays

However.. do take note that theres road closure around the pasar malam area. Therefore, if you were to take grab do tell the driver abt the road closure and the exact waiting point for them to pick you up.
