The free exhibition is ok but the planetarium show (paid) is really disappointing. Basically, you watch a cartoon on a large screen. I have been in several planetariums around the world and they are supposed to show the local sky and give scientific explanations... not here...

The Planetarium was a great educational, free attraction. We went on a weekend during the day and it was almost deserted! They had enough exhibitions to keep you entertained for a couple of hours, and there were several paid for exhibitions available, however we did not visit these. We walked to the Planetarium following a visit to the Botanical Gardens and Butterfly Park as they are all in the same area. It was very informative whilst also being interesting for kids so that both adults and children can enjoy it. If you don't have something to do in KL then I definitely suggest visiting the Planetarium.

Had a very fun memory when I used to visit the planetarium in the 90s. This place used to be packed with visitors especially kids. Would be much better if it is better maintained as there are a number of displayed items were broken/non functional at exhibition area. But with free entrance free, I could not complain much. Cheap entry fee for the show. Nevertheless we had fun there and the park nearby is beautiful.

The place needs an overhaul. Many display are not working and outdated. Even the entrance looks dull and the long staircase leading to entrance is not maintained and covered with moss.

The place seems really exciting from all the signs, but once you get inside you'll realise that many of the coolest things, such as the anti gravity room, no longer exist. The entrance is free so I suppose you can't fault it too much.

I paid to see a short film on solar storms which was fairly interesting. The movie is projected onto a dome above and around you which gives a feeling of it being 3D.

This place would be great for young children in many ways, but even then many of the exhibitions are broken down or unavailable in some way. Hard to decide if this deserves a 2 or a 3.

I love visiting KL and it’s attractions but this was by far one of the worst I have visited. Very poorly maintained with many exhibits “under maintenance”. The theatre was out of action because the AC was broken. In any event the presentation would have been for very young children. Great if that is what you are looking for.

Hardly any info about the planets and solar system. Most exhibits are closed and not working. Kids were just lining for the space pod. Playground is ordinary - they could have conceptualized it around the solar system as well. Toilets are dirty.

Horrible, waste of time and energy. We went there on Sunday because the place is closed on Monday. It was poorly maintained, almost half either broken or under repair. And the other half simply lit up. That's all to it. Just a show of lights on balls, walls and signboards. No activities apart of gravity room which my toddler aged 2 managed to slide 4 times before he too finds it boring. Observatory area was closed, Exploration area was closed, cafe was closed, everything was closed. Thank God it was free entrance or I would have demanded my money back! Totally waste of time!

This place was a real disappointment. Many of the attractions didn't work and the darkness was very disorientating. Free entry for a reason. Rather explore the beautiful Botanical gardens.

The entrance and approach feels full of promise, but then the reality of it fails to deliver. Even though admission was free there was nothing worth visiting for us... the planetarium show at our particular time was geared for children so we only stayed a few minutes.
