The fountain is not functionning during my visit. It looks a few workers are doing some repairing/ maintenance works

As of July 2017, the map shows the fountain to be outside Merdeka Square, which is not true. Other than that, it's nice.

Queen Victoria Fountain is over 100 years old and was brought over from England.Some attractive tile-work but otherwise unremarkable.
Situated in one corner of Merdeka Square if in area okay but not worth making a special effort to see it.
The fountain itself is probably nothing to rave about, but the ambiance of that place is pretty nice. There is a museum and then the Sultan Abdus Samad building, so overall it is a place where one can take some nice pics. But the fountain...More
it was about 1:30 p.m. when I saw this attraction. Having visited several attractions near this fountain located at Merdeka Square, I felt like jumping into this fountain to cool me off. Nice background for selfies and group picures!
