About
The KLCC - Bukit Bintang Walkway is a 1.173km-long pedestrian bridge that connects the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre to the Impiana KLCC Hotel, KL City Walk and Pavilion shopping mall. There are several entrance and exit points (escalators and staircases) along the bridge. With the KLCC - Bukit Bintang Walkway, people can travel safely, conveniently and comfortably on foot from the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre all the way to Bukit Bintang, and vice versa. Opened in January 2012 by Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, the bridge is a safe, comfortable and convenient alternative to the city’s busy roads for pedestrians.

    Amazing!
Very nice short cut. We stayed at Pavilion area and we were very happy when we knew about it because it saved us a lot of time. There are somewhere where you can get off/ on it. The air-conditioning was a bless. The only thing is that it closed 10 PM because of the convention center. But over all you will enjoy walking through it.

    Convenient
We stayed at bukitt bintang and used the walkway several times to get to the petronas towers . It’s slightly confusing as it’s not clearly marked but it’s a way of avoiding the traffic . Be aware that the convention center closes at times which restricts access after hours .The Aircon didn’t also work

    Away from the traffic!
A welcome relief in a city that is very pedestrian unfriendly! Nice to get away from the many cars and exhaust fumes and noise and heat. The main downside is that the walkway is devoid of any attempt at beauty -- some artwork on the walls may be nice so it doesn't just feel like a sterile and purely functional walkway. For a city that wants the tourist to spend money, I was surprised there were no stalls along the way......but maybe it's a place to have temporary relief from commercialism?!

I was informed by the reviews written here that the walkway lacks accurate directions and to make it more confusing it has several exit points, however much to my pleasant surprise it has got concise markings and easy to follow instructions to your destination. The travel time reduced drastically by accessing this bridge.

Great way to travel on foot from Suria klcc to the Pavilion in Butik Bintang with various stops along the way.
Easy air conditioned walking.
Ok can be a little confusing at times but plenty of staff on hand to help if required
Sure beats walking those hot humid streets

Love the walkway, can walk in aircon comfort from my hotel- Impiana KLCC to KLCC and Bukit Bintang. We never even walk onto the pavement because of this walkway.
