Overview
More
The KLCC - Bukit Bintang Walkway is a 1.173km-long pedestrian bridge that connects the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre to the Impiana KLCC Hotel, KL City Walk and Pavilion shopping mall. There are several entrance and exit points (escalators and staircases) along the bridge. With the KLCC - Bukit Bintang Walkway, people can travel safely, conveniently and comfortably on foot from the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre all the way to Bukit Bintang, and vice versa. Opened in January 2012 by Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, the bridge is a safe, comfortable and convenient alternative to the city’s busy roads for pedestrians.

This well designed elevated walkway starts at after catwalk alley at Pavilion and drops you off conveniently at KLCC. The KLCC end is delectably air conditioned so you can get from one shopping mecca to the next without breaking a sweat.

A great way to get away from the chaotic streets below, this walkway takes you between a few major attractions in air conditioned, wide laned comfort. There is no charge to use the walkway.

On my first visit to Malaysia I found the pedestrian walk confusing. However I quickly became used to it as an easy means of waking around KLCC. Especially in very hot weather it is much cooler than walking on the street.

If you want to get from Pavillion in Bukit Bintang to Suria KLCC quickly this is the most convenient way, even if you have a stroller or wheelchair to push.

Takes you from one shopping mall to another. Undercover out of the heat of the sun. Clean and quite wide.

The walkway goes from Pavilion Mall to the Convention Centre. Google maps says Ramada suites is 650 metres from the start of the walkway at the Pavilion Mall end so that is a walk-able distance to me.

Hi. It is not a walking distance especially if you have luggage to carry. It is better if you take a taxi.
