- Phua_Zhengjie25 contributionsAmazing Executive Lounge TeamThe highlight of the stay is definitely the executive lounge team. Everyone is so happy and friendly, and interaction with them really makes one's day. Dinesh was very attentive in service, clearing our plates, refilling our wine promptly during evening cocktail hours, and checking in on us at the right moments. He is also not shy to strike up a conversation! Zarif was patient when we asked about cocktails and whipped up an interesting and pretty one for us. Rizal and Halilah are forever so happy, smiley and welcoming. Seeing them fills your heart immediately. They are also considerate and preempt guests' needs. I would come back again for the crew at the executive lounge!Visited November 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 17 November 2023
- Matthew JWarrington, United Kingdom400 contributionsCentral InterchangeFor those who are not familiar with Kuala Lumpur, KL Sentral is the main station in the city. It is connected to lots of different train lines, including the LRT lines, the KTM Komuter service and also the KLIA Ekspres from the airport. Assuming you're flying into Kuala Lumpur, this is a useful station to get to purely based on the number of train connections you can access from this station. There are also plenty of facilities offered here to get food/drink and there are staff on hand to assist you. The only thing I would say is that some of the train lines are not brilliantly signposted at this station so if you have not navigated this station before, this could be a bit of a challenge and you may need to ask for assistance. Overall, this is a good central interchange to use if you're travelling to somewhere in Kuala Lumpur by train.Visited August 2024Travelled with familyWritten 24 August 2024
- lucycanSan Diego, California3,657 contributionsGreat people watchingTypical large rail station in the central area of KL. You can catch the express train to the airport here. There is a mall both IN the station with restaurants and shops as well as a mall attached to the station with higher end products. Great people watching!Visited September 2024Travelled soloWritten 23 September 2024

Absolutely appalling and abhorrent service by belligerent and rude staff members in the booth who don't want to help any tourist can you sit on my backsides and do nothing except talk down to tourists.
The belligerent rude female I encountered didn't want to explain the tickets didn't want to give me change didn't want to help me with anything she was just a lazy incompetent belligerent person that should be terminated.
There is no Wi-Fi on the trains or at the stations and the stations are old and dirty and there is very little help for foreign tourists so I would not recommend using this you're better off getting a taxi

The main interchange / public transport hub here. Easy to navigate the train systems to get all around KL, and the trains arrive frequently.
Foreigners will need to get the single-trip token to commute; was told by the counter staff that there's no multi-trip card/token available. Note that the token machines only take small notes (up to 10 if I don't recall wrongly) and coins (all except the 5 cent coins).

There are two MRT lines to reach the station stopping above the concourse and the monorail which ends up in Nu Sentral mall next door. Klia Express to the airport operates underground from a different point than the ETS trains for Penang and even Thailand, their waiting area on ground floor is clearly visible. All trains and lines have separate ticket offices, the long distance ones near the entrance by the budget taxi counter.

We bought a KL travel pass for our return to KLIA on the day before our flight. This covered the KLIA Transit train (the Ekspress wasn't running) AND included two calender days use of LRT, MRT & Momorail. Made a great way to see and get around the city at the end of our trip.
NB staff on the rail ticket counters had no knowledge of it and on the KLIA Transit desk needed prompting, so you need to be persistent!

We were there on February 14, 2024. We paid RM25 (about 8 Canadian dollars) each for the train ride to Ipoh which was at 2 p.m. We also ate at the kiosk named Thai Cuisine. It was like two omelets on noodles with matching sauces. It's big and modern with lots of people. We offer 13 photos.

A great Transportation Hub in the city. You can take Express Train or Bus to the Airport. Also MRT & LRT to connect you to various parts of the City.
Lots of Shops & Restaurants. And connected to NU Sentral Mall and 3 Hotels.

Easy to find the Express train but keep looking for the signs up high as we walked straight past it. We were going to the Mandarin Oriental. Caught the express train to Sentral and then got a taxi outside. I would suggest ordering a Grab. I knew we got ripped off from the guy at the counter. R60 but a grab would’ve been R14.

Apakah jam 12 malam masih bisa naik mrt dari Airport kuala Lumpur (KLIA2)?,

We are visiting KL early next year and trying to avoid the lengthy drive into Kuala Lumpur we will have 2 large wheeled luggage’s, is it easy transferring from airport to the train.also is Sentral close to le Méridien. Are porters available to help with the luggage’s app.
Written 30 May 2019
Le Meridian is right next to KL Sentral, and taking the train from the airport to KL Sentral is very easy. Be sure to buy a round trip train ticket as it will save u a little money.
There are no porters to assist u at the airport, but if your luggage has rollers, it won't be a problem.
The hotel is about 300 meters from the train in KL Sentral, so it's an easy walk with suitcases. Alas, there are no porters til u reach the hotel.

how to travel from genting to kl and from kl to genting highland?
Written 10 July 2018
One can take a taxi (for one day visit on a contract RM250 to 300). This is good for a group of 3 or 4. If you are solo take a Genting Express bus from the ground level rear side of KL sentral. It costs less than RM5 one way. Cable car facility has to be used to g60o up the hill from the bus station at Genting. Week ends and holidays will be crowded and expensive on taxies. Of course, there are daily tour operators (from RM60 to 100). You will be picked up and drop from and at your hotel.
