Bought some tickets for a concert whilst on holiday. Turns out there is a strict dress code. Not mentioned when booking tickets. No flexibility, and it appears nobody is attending this concert anyway. What a waste of time.

We are true fans of the Malaysian Philarmonic Orchestra offering seasons of high quality philarmonic music shows throughout the year, especially now after the terrible C19 Pandemic suffered in Malaysia and the rest of the World.
Thanks for offering always a fine selection of classical interpretations in a superb setting.
We do look forward to continue visiting you and supporting the fine Arts of Music. Yesterday performance conmemorating Halloween with a virtuouso conductor, Maestro Naohisa Furusawa was superb, alongside the MFO and amenable Ghost-Host. Thank you for making Art fun and accessible and at the same time of good taste and excellence!!!!

A wonderful concert hall - with what to us seems to be excellent acoustics.
We were just back again for a Sunday afternoon Mozart concert
Great experience and ticket prices are more than reasonable when one can enjoy world class orchestra, conductors and individual special instrumentalists

We watch a Star Wars orchestra performance by MPO last week. It was a wonderful experience. My brother was wearing hoodie and the staff was very kind to find a blazer for him to changed into because casual clothing such as hoodie a not allowed to enter.

I have been to a few performances held here, and it was amazing. They also do day performances for family. Carpark is always going to be a problem as it shares the same space with the mall and all.

We like this place a lot. Just be careful to comply with the dress code, especially with boys, (8+) long trousers, please, and be on time. We experienced some misshaps.
The staff is friendly -strict but kind- , the excelent accustics, amazing place and the performances are world class.
If you want to come for an extraordinary concert, listen to excelent music in an iconic yet touristy place, this is the place. I like it even more than KLCC.

Enjoy a fine orchestral music played by the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra under the interpretation of German conductor Jun Märkl. Sets were called the French Potrait.
The Petronas Philharmonic Hall is one fine piece of architecture, loved the beautifully presented wooden decor.

Saw the Swing Kings in a Happy Hour concert this past week. They were great. Enthusiastic performers with a high technical proficiency. The concert hall itself is perfect. Great sound and sight lines. And if you are over 55, you can get a senior discount. The concert hall is easily accessible and the schedule really does provide something for everyone. I already have tickets for a concert featuring Mahler compositions next week. Check it out when you are in KL.

I'm planning to attend a ballet next year
but I an unsure which would be the best seats as I would like the best view . Price is not an option. What would you suggest?

You can call or email ticket reservation office and ask them what is the best available seats.
I think there are not to many tickets left for the ballet performances in February.
But usually, for ballet the raw L,N,M should be the best ( your eyes level should be above the stage, the center seats)

Yes the tower has an inside shopping mall and science center level 4 and ticketed tours. I am not sure about tours of the music hall.

Normally the concert season starts in September and ends in May.
So I don't expect any performance in July.
