Not really sure if we came here at the wrong time of the day or has Covid left a big mark here. We did not see any of the buzz which had been posted. It’s currently quite deserted, with a few stalls selling this and that. Still it’s probably worth to plan a visit because of central market which is just beside.

A covered walkway located just next to Central Market, Kasturi Walkway, with the usual array of stalls, gives you a refreshing experience!

Most of the stalls have been cleared away from this outdoor bazaar next to Central Market. Those remaining offer food and fruit juices, some souvenirs. The old Chinese store still remains selling kitchen utensils and tableware.

Souvenir outlets and food stands are sheltered from rain and shine by the covered walkway with huge kite symbols at the ends. Products inside the market are more interesting and of better quality. A large shoe outlet sells low price holiday footwear, the corner shop has beautiful painted tableware too heavy to take home. Straight over the busy street is a Chinese shop selling semiprecious stones and cut glass beads.

Kasturi Walk is a covered walkway adjacent to Central Market where there’s lots of food and clothing stalls. I’ve visited and walked past this place many times I’ve been in Kuala Lumpur and never felt the need to linger much expect to get a drink or a snack. Most of the stalls are just selling stuff you can get anywhere, especially in nearby Petaling Street. You’ll likely see this if you going to Central Market, but I wouldn’t go out of the way to visit this place. The only mildly interesting things about this street is the roof that covers the length of the street. The shade provides relief from the sun, but not much good when it’s raining.

Plenty of stalls with souveniers and mainly clothes, shoes etc. Some of shops have fixed prices, some not.

This is a side street running parallel to the Central Market with food stalls and stalls selling souvenirs. Bargaining is acceptable. A nice walk through with big overhead signboard. A must place.to.visit.

It was just a street of stalls with a big sign and overhead street decorations announcing the place. We passed through en route elsewhere and there was no reason to linger.
