I was just so lucky that I did not experience being stranded in the middle of the rail, of course, I am not a native of Manila. Just so happen that I visit Manila once in a while. I think it is a lot better...More

The LRT is a good way to travel around Metro Manila. It has two lines, Line One and Line Two intersect in Doroteo Jose Station. It's better to take the LRT, just not at rush hour, as it is quite packed. But it is a...More

Sad, but true. The LRT/MRT facility in the Philippines is poor. Most of the time, escalators and elevators are not working, air-conditioning units in some trains don't function well that you'd get sweaty especially during summertime, hence bringing fan and hanky is a must when...More

My husband and I finally took the MRT for the first time from Shaw Blvd Station to Ayala Avenue (4th stop). Fortunately for us, there was an elevator and escalators in these stations and we only took the stairs once. We came from Shang Plaza...More

I could be wrong, but Carriedo is probably one of the biggest MRT stations, and probably the busiest considering its location in Manila. This station is practically one of the biggest hubs for commuters in the Metro. It’s a bit of a troublesome spot to...More

As a commuter who rides the metro light rail trains almost everyday, I can say that the MRT-3 is indeed the worst among the three light rail systems in the National Capital Region. MRT-3 (Route: North Avenue to Taft Avenue) This is probably the most...More

This is the worst train ive seen. So disgusting. Extremely long queue and trains arrive once in 15 minutes. So overcrowded and people are squeezed inside. This is trash compared to SG and KL subways.
