I went with the desire to see the Filipino students and not only who teach in this oldest university center in Asia. I talked with a group of students who impressed me with their desire to know how much more. And, apart from learning, are interested in representing the university in sport

We were astonished by the great structure of the old main building. It was built 400 years ago, yet still functioning until today. The surrounding areas are so peaceful and we spent one whole morning to stroll around the university. There is a small cafe at one corner of the university, serving cheap and tasty food. Outsiders need to get... More

Walking through its old portal, one feels its vintageness. Pleasant admiration as one of the oldest academic establishment. The other building to the right side upon entering is now a modern one.

I was disappointed that tourists can't visit the university, even if they show ID. I wanted to go but the guard said it wasn't allowed. I understand it is good for the students though, it keeps the place safer and less crowded. Viewing through the gate I could see the buildings are boring and not attractive but the grounds look... Come to think of it, who would have thought that a very old architecture can still be on the go today. A mixture of old and modern scenery of a school.

This is combination of old and touch of modern university and schools because theres a elementary and higher school in the compound. Accessible to all ages there is a hospital and food court and a little park to stay with and a church inside the compound. Parking is not a problem they have a lot. It's great to go around.

While waiting for my night bus to Northern Luzon I found this lovely area with a nice park where I relaxed and read for some hours. People are just strolling and jogging in the park, the atmosphere is nice and best of all, the air is clean compare to the busy streets surrounding the compound.
