Overview
More
When the Franciscans' mother church in Intramuros was destroyed in the closing days of World War II, they built their new Santuario (sanctuary) de San Antonio and installed a statue of Saint Anthony that had survived the bombing of their old beloved church. Many of Manila's wealthy families reside in nearby Forbes Park and Dasmarinas Village, so this church is where most of their christenings, weddings and funerals take place.

Beautiful small church with great acoustic. What I like most was it was fully air-conditioned. A very rare for a Catholic Church in the Philippines.

The Santuario de San Antonio Church is a wonderful place of Christian worship: Its solemnity is good start for any Catholic's yearning for spiritual rest and renewal. Its reputation as a elitist's church is unfair: it was not designed to be in the middle of...More

A cute little church open 24hours a day. As most of old buildings very European influenced during its construction.

I enjoy my weekend mass here, air conditioned for anticipated mass and Sunday masses, very comfortable, well lit and beautiful church. There is a choir that sing beautifully but only at certain times.

Even after a very late dinner, I can still go because it's open 24 hours. Every whose who in Manila choose this as their wedding church but the real magic for me is the adoration chapel.

A lovely old church with a Portuguese influence. Adored by the locals and in a good area of Manila. Across the road from a small shopping plaza.
