Gumusluk is very nice to have a day out, visit one of the restaurants along the seashore, although I find a bit overpriced

This is areal local sea port and the quality of the fish reflects this .it appeared everyone in the restaurant was eating fish or the like, our meal was as good as any fish I have had anywhere and that includes my home town

I have been here before, in 2004 and at that time there were Rabbits on the island !!! . .. but a few years ago, they decided to "dig" on the Island, so the Rabbits has to be taken off. There is no longer any access onto the island, but, you can still wade out to it, on the old... More

Today this island is closed to the public, to protect some recent architectural finds, however you can still walk the causeway. King of Halicarnassus Mousolos build a causeway in the 4th century BC, so that they could go and feed the rabbits on the island while watching the sunset. The causeway sunk as a result of and earthquake, but you... More

This place history goes back to thousands of years. There has been archeological excavations performed past few years. However, they stopped somehow. Can walk to 'island' by walking in the sea, knee deep level.

Can't actually go on island but the unusual part is that you can "walk on water" to it lol by that I mean you can get to it by wading through 0.5m of water from the beach which makes for some great pics hence "must do"
