No need to make special trip. This can be seen from main road as you pass.. Ephesus theatre is far more rewarding.

I love ancient ruins and was delighted to see how this wonderful Greek theatre (it's not an amphitheatre) has been restored. What an experience it must have been for spectators to site on that hillside watching a tragedy or comedy with the bay in the...More

Suggestive view in the night. Well preserved even not first one in Turkey. Easy to access and get the view.

The Amphitheatre is located just out of the town a few minutes walk from the Mausoleum. The good news is that is it free but be aware that you need to cross a very busy dual carriageway .

The amphitheatre is near the Gumbet area of Bodrum which in itself is a happening place and has its own bar street and restaurants(nightlife) going till early morning. The amphitheatre is an old historic place well preserved. Its a must see when in Bodrum.

Saw this amazing place from the boat coming over from Kos. Not so easy when your close up to it. A free attraction with gear views. Must have been spectacular in its day.

We stopped here a couple of times on the way to and from Gumbet to Bodrum. The view is amazing and it's nice to learn that after all these hundreds of years the theatre is still being used for concerts. Great place for photos on...More
