We visited in May, & love the minor league parks & activities. Always more intimate baseball experience at a smaller ballpark! But when we visited the restaurant down in the corner to the right of home plate, we were disappointed. It was cold & breezy...More
Horrible concessions. Hot dogs purchased at "The Dog House" were inedible. Had to be days old. Dry hard buns. Hard unchewable room temperature hot dog. Threw $25 worth of "food" in the trash and left the ballpark to get some decent food. What a shame....More
Canal Park is a nice place to watch a game,but the weekend is very busy.
The concourse is all on one level and it can get congested quicker than you think.
Still, nice staff and park make this a fun stop.
Came here as part of a large group of 30 or so people to see the Rubber Ducks play. We were not disappointed. The park is beautiful. I've only been to a handful of minor league parks, but this is certainly one of the nicest....More
beautiful ballpark, nestled in next to the old canal, with views of the akron skyline. despite being right downtown akron, really easy to get to, super easy/reasonable parking. great logo/brand as well. i see lots of minor league games, and this local ballpark is still...More

Akron just doesn't have that many good hotel options downtown. I would not recommend the City Center Hotel. Your best bet is the Hilton Garden Inn on the side near Good Year HQ. It's a short taxi/uber ride away. When I went... More
Akron just doesn't have that many good hotel options downtown. I would not recommend the City Center Hotel. Your best bet is the Hilton Garden Inn on the side near Good Year HQ. It's a short taxi/uber ride away. When I went in June there were also plenty of free parking options too near Canal Park.
